Guests often search for this popular amenity
Relax and take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway perched overlooking the preferred coral reef destination of chartered snorkeling excursions in the area (they sail there where you will be sipping your beverage and pondering over the horizon whether to dive in our pool, walk down to the beach, or snorkel with the colorful fauna by the reef).

The space
Our home is new: just finished being built in 2021. As you enter from the driveway one encounters our infinity pool and deck access. To the right is the outdoor shower and restroom; living, dining, and kitchen areas. To the left one encounters the bedrooms area which also has the laundry room. And from every place in our home one can enjoy one of the most astounding views of the Caribbean!

Where you’ll be

Playa Sardinas I, Culebra, Puerto Rico

The Playa Melones neighborhood is mostly rural/residential area. Only neighbors' traffic is to be expected once one drives uphill past the Punta Melones peninsula where most visitors park to enjoy the day at the beach there or venture snorkeling further north into our oceanfront area. Water shoes are a must for walking by the reef area shoreline. Snorkeling gear can be rented in town (check discoverymap com for local businesses). Playa Melones does have some of the best snorkeling in the area with live coral, turtles, and beautiful tropical fish all in one gorgeous ecosystem.

It's all within walking (or swimming) distance. After midnight, if one's perfectly still and quiet, local deer can be seen grazing within our property.

Culebra Island at large harbors no large hotels or flashy vacation bells and whistles. Several beaches are stunning stretches of white sand, great for sunning, windsurfing and diving. The culture and architecture are just as colorful as the waters of the bright blue sea. Stroll around downtown for a truly quaint afternoon activity.
