Riad O2 was a calm oasis which we were happy to return to after adventures around the city. The location made for a nice walk through the medina south to reach Jema-el-Fnaa square and north-west to reach Jardin Majorelle situated outside the old city. Staff were very accommodat…

Riad o2 was lovely, well located and stylish! Rachida's food was the best morrocan food we had! Our room was spacious and with a lovely out door seating area and the BEST shower! Nice to be able to buy a bottle of wine when we needed and the option to eat in on lazy days. Hammam…

Such a lovely Riad in the heart of the old Medina. Take advantage of the cooking, they made us Chicken Tagine for dinner and it was one of the best meals of my life!

This place is a perfect medina hideaway. Highly recommend it for anyone that wants a quiet, homely resting spot. The rooms are beautiful and the terrace is fantastic. Staff and food were exceptional too.

Wasn't up to the standard expected. The room was as shown in photos and perfectly clean and lovely, but the common areas were very different to how shown - solely because they hadn't been cleaned after a 50th birthday that had been on before we arrived. The whole Riad had amazing…

Response from RiadO2:
Dear Aly, Thank you for your feedback on Riad O2. The day you arrived was the day after we had had a large group staying at Riad O2 to celebrate a birthday. Our staff concentrated on getting the rooms ready for arriving guests and by the following day all common areas were tidied. We apologise for any inconvenience caused by this. The tarpaulin is kept on until the beginning of April as the weather in Marrakech can be very unpredictable until then with hail storms and heavy rain. Regarding the local tourist taxes, this is clearly stated on the very first email we sent you "In Marrakech there is a local tourist tax of 15 Moroccan dirhams per person per night and a tourist promotion tax of 8 dirhams per person per night, so a total of 23 dirhams (about €2.30)." We are happy to hear that you enjoyed the hammam and massage treatment and that you also enjoyed our typical Moroccan breakfast. Best wishes, Annette and all the team at Riad O2
