Located in one of the 5 Blue Zones of the world, The Sea Monkey House is ideally situated in the jungle, abutting the famous Cabo Blanco Nature Reserve (fictionalized in the Jurassic Park book and movie) and the Oropopo Nature Reserve. The house is a two hundred meter stroll to the Playa Malpais beach, where the local artisanal fishermen bring in the daily catch, and will clean and filet it for you. Some favorites are Grouper, Tuna, Red Snapper, Mahi Mahi and Lobster. Vibrant Santa Teresa, with its world-known beach is a ten minute drive from the house. Mere steps away from the house there is ziplining, as well as snorkeling, deep-sea and inshore fishing, horse riding on the beach, surfing and hiking. There is even our own secret waterfall pool during wet season. Malpais and Santa Teresa offer world-class dining as well as delightful, casual beach restaurants.

The house is IDEALLY located in the ultra-quiet, end-of-the-road jungle/beach area of Playa Malpais yet is just a 4km drive to the high-energy attractions of Santa Teresa. A perfect combination!
