This spacious, four-bedroom, 2.5 bath home is a classic up north cottage with beautiful views of Rapid River. Peaceful with that kick back feel. Prime location close to Torch Lake, our river connects to the chain of lakes with public access right around the corner. Within 40 minutes to Elk Rapids, Bellaire, Traverse City or the wineries of Mission Peninsula. You will love the large deck, bonfire pit, high speed wifi, grill, and riverfront dock. Plus, we are pet friendly! (Please see rules below)

The space
2500 sq ft home located minutes away from the Torch River and public access DNR boat launch. Large backyard with bonfire pit, large deck with grill and plenty of outdoor seating (available June - September).

LIVING ROOM + DINING ROOMS + KITCHEN
Spacious living room connected with dining room and kitchen for open floor concept and entertaining. Kitchen stocked with essentials needed for cooking and dinnerware sets for up to 12 people. Second dining room is located in rustic 3 seasons room with seating for up to 10 people with serving table. Living room has sleeper sofa, recliner, large smart TV, ceiling fan (wood stove is not for use).

BEDROOM 1 -
King pillow top mattress, side tables, alarm clock with USB plugs, dresser with mirror, spacious closet, lounge chair, ceiling fan, pack n play crib, private full bathroom. Private access to four seasons room which includes massage chair, 2 twin beds, table and chairs with private outdoor entry.

BEDROOM 2 -
Queen foam top mattress, side tables, alarm clock with USB plugs, wardrobe.

BEDROOM 3 -
Queen foam top mattress, side tables, bed frame with USB plugs, alarm clock with USB plugs, wardrobe, lounge chair.

BEDROOM 4 -
Queen foam top mattress, side tables, alarm clock with USB plugs, small dresser, closet, window A/C unit.

BATHROOM 1 -
Gorgeous large walk in shower, double vanity, mirror, small dresser and water closet toilet.

BATHROOM 2 -
Large shower bath (tub jets not functional), single vanity, mirror, built in storage.

BATHROOM 3-
Half bath, single vanity, mirror.

THREE SEASONS ROOM
Perfect place to relax and enjoy the riverfront view. Sleeper sofa, loveseat, chaise lounge, electric fireplace, electric heater (provided in winter), ceiling fan, coffee table, smart TV, large dining room table seats 10, serving table.

FOUR SEASONS ROOM
Attached to master suite, enjoy the riverfront view from the luxury massage chair. Two twin beds, bedside table, 4 chairs, lamps with USB plugs, perfect room for kids!

OUTDOOR PATIO/DECK
Enjoy the riverfront view from the deck or have a BBQ! Patio dining sets, gas grill, lounge chairs (grill and furniture available June - September only).

FRONT PATIO/DECK
Relax and enjoy the wooded views from the porch lounge chairs or rocking chairs on the patio.

Explore the serene beauty of the Rapid River on our 2 kayaks and relax on our lounge chairs (these are available June - September only).

Secluded and peaceful, homes along Rapid River are wooded with private/shared drives.

Our home is located down the road from the DNR boat launch where you can access Torch River by boat, jet ski and/or kayak and take a 15 minute ride to the Torch Lake Sandbar or Lake Skegemog and Elk Lake. Bring a boat or contact a local boat rental company to launch right down the river!

THE AREA:
Rapid City is surrounded by beautiful and eventful towns including Alden and Elk Rapids which offers wine tasting, public swimming areas, local grocery store as well as unique shops and restaurants. Bellaire, home of Shorts Brewery, restaurants, shops, and Shanty Creek Resort. Less than 40 minutes away is the Traverse City area, there you can enjoy local beaches, Grand Traverse Bay, restaurants, casinos, golf courses, cherry orchards, breweries and shopping. Swing up to Mission Peninsula to visit the plentiful vineyards and wine tasting/tours. Boyne Mountain, Crystal Mountain, Nubs Nob and Schuss are perfect for skiing/snowboarding and not a far distance. ORV trail heads are nearby and lead to miles of off-roading.
