A very beautiful Gite in a stunning loaction. Surprisingly bigger than the pictures show. Kids loved sleeping in the mezzanine and playing in the garden with swing. Kitchen had all the mod cons and bathroom was equipped with loads of towels. Bruno was a great host and recommended some superb restaurants and was always available for any queries. And the marmalade and cider in fridge on arrival was a lovely touch.

Bruno's place is the reason airb&b exists. It ia even better than on pictures. Located in the countryside of the lovely Normandy you will find every thing a young family needs, very comfortable, well decorated and well equipped house. If you are considering the area, stop considering and order asap.

Stunning immaculately kept quiet cottage in idyllic Norman countryside. Clean and very well appointed with everything you need for a truly magical stay. Great communication, would defintely come back here again

Bruno's place is a haven of peace and tranquility in a delightful and bucolic area of rural Normandy. The old Norman half-timbered structure has been refurbished to a very high standard, and we especially appreciated the modern and fully-equipped kitchen, and outside dining table. The house itself, although quite small, is situated in the middle of a large, grassy parkland close to the old manor house, which itself is an amazing and very ancient building. A parking space is provided just a few steps away from the cottage, and it's all very convenient for an easy stay. The house is perfect for two or three adults, and a family with young children will appreciate the swing hanging from the tree outside! The nearest local village, with an outstanding artisanal bakery for morning baguettes and croissants, is just a couple minutes drive away, or an easy 20-minute walk along the "rail trail" running beside the house. Bigger towns, and the coast, are also nearby, and of course don't forget the Route du Cidre which is very near by! For cheese lovers, the cheese factory in Livarot is also worth a visit, with ample tastings of the finished products, and if châteaux are your thing, there are several nearby that are very interesting. Bruno's place is a really lovely place to stay, and I can thoroughly recommend it. Thank you!

Second visit and just as lovely and special as the first. We drove to Mont St Michel for the day from here, visited the Bayeau tapestries and loved going to the market at Liseaux on Saturday morning...if you are driving to our from Paris, Giverny is an easy drive en-route...passed on lunch at Honfluer this time in favour of a lovely walk to the village and delicious pain for a fantastic lunch.

Bruno's place is set in a wonderfully peaceful and picturesque location. Small but perfectly formed, the gite is extremely well equipped with a generously and thoughtfully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, lots of towels and bathroom 'extras'. The mezzanine level is best left for those under 3ft tall but a great space for children able to navigate the ladder steps. Bruno and his wife are extremely hospitable hosts taking time to offer lots of recommendations and advice on the local area and checking on us mid-stay. The property is well located for exploring Normandy. Highlights were the safari park 'Cerza', the castle at Falaise followed by the tapestry, Saturday market at Lisieux and the climbing walls at Decathlon Mondeville (great fun for two under 10s on a rainy day). All in all, a great experience in a great region.
