Location

St. Roch, New Orleans, Louisiana

If you are on the tamer side of life and aren't cool with a neighborhood that is a bit edgy then St Roch is NOT for you I'm afraid. St. Roch is an upbringing neighborhood and specially our block has seen a lot of rebuilding since Katrina. You still can see a lot going on. I strongly recommend you to look at the street on G earth so you get an idea of the looks. A lot of local artists, musicians and bohemian characters live here as well as working class families. It is bursting at the seams with diversity, character and beauty. Neighbors are friendly, the houses are adorable with many having been newly restored and more and more being renovated each day. Very accessible neighborhood with plenty of groceries, restaurants, bars and coffee shops around
