This special home is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. Only 0.6 miles to Crestone, plenty of room for six people, new 18,000 BTU AC in the living room, easy access, free parking, lots of amenities, work space and more. Relax, hike, dine, soak, bike and more. Best times of year to visit are fall, winter and spring in my opinion! The space
All bedrooms have blackout curtains and ceiling fans. The kitchen is stocked with dinner and cookware to serve 12 in addition to disposable cups, plates, bowls, silverware, as well as spices and oil. The sink has a new garbage disposal, sink and faucet and the fridge is equipped with filtered water and an ice maker. The laundry room is fully equipped as well and there's a drying rack for towels and swim suits once you return from the hot springs or dunes. New windows have also been installed in the kitchen, downstairs bedrooms and bathroom and upstairs. The living room has a new AC which will keep the main space comfortable all day long with the curtains closed in the afternoons when there is direct sunlight. The deck has a new sun shade for added comfort. Please keep in mind this is a desert-like environment and does warm up in the summer months but nights are always cool and comfortable! Crestone, Colorado, United States

There are five creeks throughout the area - from the north of town: North Crestone Creek, Crestone Creek (1/4 mile from Vista to the south), Willow Creek, Spanish Creek and Cottonwood Creek. All creeks are accessible from Camino Baca Grande and have trails running along each side, some more prominent than others. Following them east towards the Sangre's promises to make for a great hike, long or short. As long as you stay within 40 feet of the creek, you won't intrude on private property.
