Beautiful vintage mountain home takes you back to slower times. Plenty of space. Beautiful views. Close to town in case you need something. Great service. My family and I would love to go back. Great to disconnect and recharge. Good spot from which to tour the central and southwest part of the island.

The house is beautiful. You can feel the history in it. You feel transported back in time. Being there feels very serene and peaceful. Loved the easy access within walking distance to the town square, yet you still feel secluded and surrounded by nature. Tita and Anibal were both very nice and welcoming. They helped us organize a hiking trip and suggested things to do in the area.

After staying here for a weekend relax gateway my husband and I fell in love with Villa Mary. We decided to have our vow renewal/10 year anniversary party at the Villa. The gardens made for the perfect background and the guest were enchanted by the Villa's charm and old-time feel. We had around 40 guests comfortably, but the Villa could accomodate events for up to 65 people in our opinion, more if you include the gardens. The gardens offered great photo ops. and the balcony offered a covered area to accomodate tables and guests. Tita, the innkeeper, was great help and very sweet. There was enough parking for our party and lots of areas for people to mingle and interact. The mountain backdrop was truly beautiful and made the event and unforgettable one. We had a magical day and everyone enjoyed their time at Villa Mary. A true hidden treasure!

We had an amazing time at Villa Mary. Meme's instructions were easy to follow and we got there with no trouble at all. When arriving at the Villa's grounds we were amazed by the stunning presence of the house and the beautiful embrace of its gardens. We were greeted by Tita, the innkeeper. She was super sweet and explained all the workings of the home. The Villa is spacious, with many rooms, comfy beds and an amazing balcony where we spend hours contemplating the flowers, birds and the light filtering through the trees... Relaxation comes naturally here, you feel a sense of peace and welcomed isolation, even-though you are only a 5 min walk away from the town center. Tita cooked us two amazing meals and gave us great tips of where to eat, go and see about town. The Villa is full of rustic, old-time charm, with its period details, quirks and history. There is so much here that connects you with the past and we felt honored to be at a place where so many historical figures had visited and stayed. We loved the place so much that we are planing to celebrate our ten year anniversary here in a couple of months. From our home in SJ to the Villa it was only 1 hour and 20 mins door to door and completely worth it! We can't wait to be back and to introduce our family and friends to the treasure that is Villa Mary. Thank you Meme and Tita!

I am an Artist and Art Educator.
Villa Mary in Adjuntas, PR is such an amazing magical location that I decided to open it up to the public a few years ago because many friends and family members insisted on having others experience an authentic Puerto Rican mountain lifestyle from a pass era .
Villa Mary has been in my family- The Ferre' Family for almost 100 years.Built in 1918 by my great grandmother Mary Aguayo Casals as a summer retreat for her family. She was the wife of Cuban industrialist Antonio Ferre' Bacallao .They had 6 children.
At Villa Mary you will experience going back to another time, one that is stress free and relaxed surrounded by the emerald green mountains- La Cordillera Central. My great aunt Sor. Isolina Ferre', a missionary nun was the caretaker before me and used the villa for spiritual retreats. She loved coming here. I also love coming to Villa Mary with my family and friends to relax, converse, walk in the garden, listen to the coquis and create artwork.I am now it's steward and want it to survive for future generations.Once you are here - you are surrounded by it's beauty and peace. The waterfall and river is just 10 mins away by car. You can take a 5 min walk into town for freshly baked bread ,coffee and visit Casa Pueblo- the local museum and community center. Being in Villa Mary will give you and your family a chance to spend quality time together. The temperature is always cool year round.I am always inspired as an artist when I am in Puerto Rico.
My property managers Anibal and Tita will take very good care of you and your family.
You will never forget this fabulous experience of being at Villa Mary and returning to a pass era in a Puerto Rican mountain estate that you and your family with cherish!
