It's just a 7 minute walk to the popular Castlecliff beach for a swim or take a stroll along the black sandy beach and enjoy a spectacular West coast sunset. Stop at the Citadel café for a meal or drink on the way home.
Its easy to ski from here as Ohakune is just over an hours drive.
This is a great spot for couples, solo adventurers or business travelers.

The space
Newly built, self contained unit. 1 bedroom with a very comfortable queen size bed. Relax in the dining/lounge which gets filled with the morning sun and in the winter some lovely sunrises. The bathroom is spacious with the best shower ever!!! There is kitchenette with all the necessary equipment to cook a meal. The panel heaters will keep you warm in the winter but in the summer, open the doors onto the deck and let the sheltered sea air drift through.
Our friendly dog, Zorro and cat Trixie live here with us.
