Set in the quiet, safe, fishing village of San Bruno is Villa San Bruno. We offer two fully furnished private apartments upstairs. Great area for naturalists and those who like to fish. Sea life includes whales, porpoise, and whale sharks on occasion. Our guests enjoy nearby whale and ancient cave art tours, along with the Bay of Conception. Small store and evening cafe across the street. We provide wifi, large smart TV, sea kayaks and stand-up paddleboard. Wave runners available to rent.

The space
The sunrise photo was taken from your private deck. San Bruno is an authentic fishing village with some of the nicest people you'll meet. Set in a small town yet between two larger cities, Santa Rosalia and Mulege with the breath taking Bay of Conception just south of Mulege. The Villa is on a small hill above the marina.

Guest access
The Villa is on the beach with 3 separate apartments. The bottom floor is our home. We list the two apartments above with Airbnb. Laundry is available to our guests in the metal building between the two houses. Parking is available behind the house on the seaside or in front on the street. Keep in mind the area is safe and neighbor dogs friendly.

Other things to note
1. You will have to climb stairs.
2. We occasionally hear music from a local celebration late into the night, usually on holidays.
3. We feed hungry neighborhood dogs so you may see several on the property. Some are shy, all are safe. The friendliest is the lab looking dog, Lady. The dogs will frequently walk with you. They are usually quiet but can have bouts of night barking. Lady likes to sleep upstairs outside your door.
5. We assist in collecting funds to feed school aged children breakfast through a local church. This program can be found on Facebook, Good Morning San Bruno. Let me know if you are interested in making a donation to feed the children. If we are not present please give your donation to Carlos as he manages the donation fund.
6. Lastly, our cleaning staff always appreciates a tip.

Location

San Bruno, Baja California Sur, Mexico

The neighborhood is primarily made up of modest Mexican homes. A delightful family across the street runs a small neighborhood store and restaurant open most nights of the week selling pizza, tortas, burritos, hot dogs, and hamburgers. The Mexican community is tight knit, mostly related and love to sing on their porches. In addition there are several Americans living on the beach on the north side of the marina.

I love people and value good relationships. I recently retired from a career in social work to enjoy a peaceful and lovely life in the Baja. And while hosting comes natural to me I know how to give my guests the privacy they need to enjoy a relaxing vacation. I love family, friends, and the loving presence of God, especially experienced in worship at my Redding Ca. church. I enjoy children, helping people, walks on the beach with my husband collecting shells, rocks, and driftwood. I love photographing sunrises and sunsets, jet skiing, boating, whale watching, a good movie, travel, restaurants with live music, and playing games while listening to oldies with a glass of wine.
