Very cute and cozy cottage, one of the beds was very firm and the other had memory foam so we each had what we wanted!

We would recommend this little house for anyone looking for a place in St. Augustine but who may not want to stay near the crush of other visitors. The neighborhood is close to several nice restaurants and it's not that far of a drive to the historic downtown and beaches. The ho…

I have a hard time writing this review as the hosts seem like genuinely lovely people and they have done an incredible job of preserving this beautiful little piece of Old Florida. However, we had some issues with the listing not being true to the accommodations. THIS IS NOT A …

Ohh! Sorry you misunderstood our listing. But I'm glad you enjoyed our little O cottage and it's Vicinity to the historic downtown. It's even nicer during the spring and summer months... when you can enjoy the pool and swim at the beach. When we receive reviews such as yours, we do try to understand what was missed... Or if the space was properly cleaned and well presented? We do our best to improve our guest's experience... if possible? That said... It's hard to understand the reasoning for your public review? It's also hard to resolve those issues now... This should have been mentioned during your stay. Most guests reach out if they have an issue ... or a question. We could have cleared any confusion about the cleaning fee during your stay. For example, we only ask that you keep up with towels and dishes because we do not have maid services... At least not daily, like the hotels do. A large load of towels, all at once, may break this small stackable unit. Which has happened before. Just because a guest decided to do 5 or 6 towels all the at once... it threw off the balance. Second, there is very little we can do about the sounds of distant trains .. at least if you stay downtown. Remember, this is a Historical City... and still has trains. The rail runs thru the center of town. Guests should note, we are NOT on the tracks... we are 3 blocks away, with plenty of trees and homes in between. The distant train sounds are not loud at all... nor disturbing for most of guests. Third, there are plenty of trees and birds in the spring and summer... you probably did not hear them because It was the coldest day of the year. Not too many birds would sing about that :) As for trucks... Commercial Trucks are only allowed on King street, which is about 6 blocks or more from the house.... It's hard to believe you heard traffic sounds because even King Street is not a common ave for delivery trucks... So that is a little bit of a stretch... in the noise department. We do not provide shampoos and little soaps... only because, the majority of our guest bring their own better quality soaps and shampoos with their toiletries. We do our best to rent reasonably. This is definitely an upgrade from those Hotels that provide nice soaps and shampoos. I do not believe there is a vacation home, like this one... with a pool... this close to historic downtown... stylized with such nice decor... and at a more reasonable rate... At least not on Airbnb. I check the listings regularly. We do pay our cleaning crews and pool guy a living wage... that's why we have a cleaning fee. We hope you next visit we can host you at the beach... It's not quieter but you may enjoy the salty air... That helps everyone.

Loved staying at this cute and quaint cottage! The location is prime, being right by all the best places in St. Augustine, including downtown. We stayed with three of our fur babies and Aloe was super accommodating. Highly recommend staying here if in the area!

Cute and quirky space. Quiet neighborhood. Looks to be up and coming area. This place was pretty and had it been warm weather the pool looked very inviting. Great hosts. Easy communication. A good value. Overall a win.

In 2005 our family left NYC on a grand adventure. Our goal was to survive outside all the conveniences of Manhattan & 5 Boroughs ;) We explored many places and somehow ended up here :) St. Augustine Beach is Magical, Pristine... The people are nice too!!! It is more…
