Taghazout, Souss-Massa, Morocco

Taghazout is an old fishing village, located directly on the Atlantic Ocean in south-west Morocco. To this day, local fishermen set out every morning to catch fish and sell them at the local fishermen's market (Marché Poissons) on the beach. The village also attracts surfers from all over the world. Local shops, hostels, restaurants and surf camps are in and around the atmospheric village.

As well as surfing, Taghazout offers a variety of activities such as fishing, kite surfing, paddle boarding, quad biking, horse riding, camel adventures and of course many different short or long day trips to choose from.

The new Tazegzout golf course is 10 km away in the dunes and beach, a beautifully situated 18 hole golf course, where every hole is a challenge, with spectacular views of the Atlantic. Various facilities are available to guests, including professional golf equipment, an attractive terrace for lunch or dinner at 80 m. above sea level.
