Case Rock Camper is located on 105 gorgeous acres of unspoiled woodlands and rock formations approximately one hike-able mile to the banks of the Locust Fork River. Our enormously popular Case Rock Eco-Retreat features two off-grid properties and now TWO on-grid properties. This camper is the newest edition we decided to add because the other properties are booked nearly every weekend, and we wanted to offer our guests another option. If the off-grid properties aren't your bag, GOOD NEWS! This one is on-grid (except no TV and no wifi because, duh, camping!). If the Tin Can isn't your bag because it's too much like a house, then GOOD NEWS! This is a camper which means it is not a house, it is CAMPING. And staying here means you are able to immerse yourself in the experience that so many guests before you have enjoyed. We have over 450 5-star reviews! Click on our profile pic to see our other listings. As a new listing, though, this camper is likely to have more availability, so take advantage while you can.

Rest on a memory foam mattress, sit around the fire pit, take a hot shower indoors or outdoors (!!), and enjoy the peace and quiet because you are not at a campground. You are at an ECO-RETREAT! Emphasis on the word "retreat." You can bring your pets! You can forest bathe! You can drive right up to your campsite! None of this "leaving your car at the road and being hauled away on an ATV" business. You can come and go AS YOU PLEASE. You just need to check-in with us in person before you settle in. You must sign a waiver and be led down to the campsite by the host for a quick orientation for the first time only.

It's no-hassle camping at its best. Linens are provided for the main bed only, as well as pillows, towels, paper products, dishes, cookware, soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The bunks require you to bring sleeping bags. A 27 gallon tub of firewood, lighter fluid, and matches can be delivered to your campsite for a fee. Bring only your clothes and food (and sleeping bags if you bring the kids), except since you have your car, you could literally eat out every meal. Order our famously enormous and enormously famous Case Rock Cabin cookies ($20 a dozen). Cook at the charcoal grill. Do whatever you want! It's your vacation!

Remember we are only 30 min from downtown Birmingham, so you can have a night on the town and settle into your quiet camper for restful sleep.

You may hike the nearly three miles of trails and fish, float or kayak the river.

Where you’ll be

Kimberly, Alabama, United States

You are located 25 minutes north of Birmingham, Alabama, a thriving city with a rich food and music scene. Its award-winning restaurants, killer music venues, museums, and shopping can keep you busy for days. The main entrance to the Camper at Case Rock is two miles off I-65, and two miles from the nearest grocery store, restaurants, pharmacy, and gas stations in the nearby town of Warrior. The Locust Fork River, just a one mile hike away, is an unregulated, scenic river good for fishing and floating downstream when the water levels are lower. Nearby you will find Rickwood Caverns State Park which conducts tours in its enormous underground caverns. Further north, you can rent kayaks and canoes and enjoy the whitewater sections of the Locust Fork River. Whether natural attractions or man-made, this area offers many reasons to visit.
