Flaps can be adjusted in summer to manage air flow. In summer we remove the woodstove and make the bed a king - bringing your sleepingbags is standard - but linens can be provided for $20 extra. We do not use the mosquito net any longer but have this image so you can see the king size bed arrangement in SUMMER only.

If you are looking for a tranquil escape from city life, Pamela's teepee is the perfect spot for you. We were greeted by Pamela, her lovely daughter (who brought us fresh eggs), their gorgeous dog, and two gentle horses. Our thoughtful hosts then brought us wood to build a fire, …

This stay is a really great find! If you love the off grid vibe, farm life, and a lovely caring host this place is for you. Brought the pups. There are lots of great local hiking trails, breweries, & Boston was about 60 min away (without traffic). Loved the unique outdoors accom…

Keep in mind that you are staying in a teepee. On a lovely farm. Horses and chickens and a big dog named Mac. This was truly a outdoors experience. Pamala gave me great dinning ideas and was just a great hostess. Read the description of the property as well as what to bring and…

She is very sweet and helpful. However, she did not specify that she would not be there at check-in, and no direction. Was very hard to see the house.

Response from Pamela:
Hi Maia, I can appreciate your confusion if you didn’t read your messages however here were my messages to you that morning which both told you I may not be here at check in, and also specifically how to find my house. I am not sure what else I could have done to indicate how and what to expect for your arrival and I strongly recommend reading messages sent to you in advance of your check in. You did find the house and set down your bags and then go to dinner once you saw the messages so I’m not sure why you would articulate this as an issue. Hosts can communicate but if the messages are not read there’s not much more we can do. ——— Hi Maia! Check in is after 4, and we’d look forward to hosting you! Be sure to find a mosquito candle or go to CVS for the OFF lantern. They are out of refills but still sell the lantern with inserts. Alternatively Big Y supermarket in town has a Bug Light in a metal tin that is also great. We are headed to the Woodstock Fair today just south of our town by 15 minutes. We may not be here for your arrival if it’s earlier in the day. I absolutely recommend it though! And the drive on 169 is a national scenic road. Feel free to call or write with questions! Pamela Last Saturday at 11:17 AM Oh green mailbox with uphill gravel driveway and horse pasture on the left. My chickens are out so if you have a dog keep it leashed please. I’ll put them away when we get home and dogs are free to be off leash from then. See you soon! Last Saturday at 11:19 AM

My husband and I had a short but wonderful stay with Pamela. Everything was as described and the teepee was so much more fun than a hotel. We plan on returning for a longer trip!

We had a wonderful stay at Pamela’s teepee! She was so sweet and welcoming and are looking forward to booking a stay in her wigwam this upcoming winter! It was truly a camping experience with a little more style! The bugs stayed away with a bug light that Pamela told us exactly …
