This unique apartment nestled in a farm 1700s Stonehouse and has a bright updated living and kitchen areas. The bedroom retains the original summer kitchen/walk in fireplace. This charming "nest" is flooded with amber light and charm!

The space

The Nest is located on a 200 active working farm. Beautiful views and close encounters with nature and animals.

Guest access

Guests will have full use of the downstairs apartment, which includes a kitchen, living space, bathroom, and bedroom with Queen size bed. The grounds surrounding the Stonehouse are common areas and shared with the Upstairs apartment. Hammocks, gas and charcoal grill in back, and porch swing are for guests to enjoy. Please do not enter the working part of the farm (across the lane) or animal barns or enclosures. We have our own Farm Market that sells products from our farm and other farmers we know.

Interaction with guests

We love our guests! But we know this space is great for a quiet getaway and are happy to accommodate that, too. I live on the farm. We have set it up so you don't need to officially check in, but if you want to be greeted upon arrival please indicated this, most of the time I am around. I am always available by text and phone and both my daughters live on the farm.

Other things to note

There is a Keurig coffee maker coffee, tea, half and half, sugar and some kind of baked good or bread stocked in your apartment. There are basic cooking pots and cooking utensils. We have a farm store on the premises that has frozen meat from the farm, eggs, and some other products.

Please watch your head upon entering and exiting the bedroom. Our cozy Nest bedroom is located in a renovated 1700s summer kitchen (sorry the fireplace is non-working), there is low clearance just in the entryway, the bedroom is full height. Please also note that the bathroom has no formal door separating it from the step down to the bedroom, there is a curtain though.

ALWAYS DRIVE 15MPH on farm lanes....sheep are occasionally in road and a little Corgi lives across the lane in the Red Milkhouse! Please note the driveway is very ROUGH. For your safety animal barns are OFF LIMTS please do not wander into any animal enclosures.

***The wire fences succuring the animals ARE ELECTRIC do not touch or let children near them!

Although it rained for part of the weekend, I have to say the Nest was a cozy as described. It was a nice and relaxing retreat from the daily grind and welcomed by my wife and I. We had one glorious day to spend in the sunshine, visiting neighboring New Hope and Lambertville. Great destinations if your into great local food and the creative scene. Thanks to our host, Jeanmarie for always being accessible by phone text. Never had to wait to get an answer if we had questions...like how to use the coffee maker ;). Highly recommend this country oasis if you just want to get away from the city and disappear.

My husband and two kids stayed at Jeanmarie's cute historic farmhouse. She has fabulous taste not only in the 2 bedroom apartment on the second floor, but the "nest" location on the first floor. We love animals and our for our kids it was a wonderful experience. Even if you are not as into animals the property she has and the history attached too it is a feature in itself. We also hosted my daughters first birthday on the farm. I was able to rent a tent, tables and chairs and It comfortably held 40 guests outside for the day. What is also unique about the location is the supper club. It is a hidden gem. The chefs Alixda and Paul are quite talented. They catered the party for the day, brunch in the morning to a plated dinner at the end. We could have not asked for more on the event. We also rented the nest for a guest to stay with us, which worked perfectly. My only other comment is to message Jeanmarie and ask questions about the overall experience because it is more than just a house you are getting. We look forward to keeping in touch with her! Thank you Jeanmarie for a wonderful experience.

A lovely apartment in the middle of a farm. Nice clean apartment with all the amenities needed. The fresh eggs and homemade bread were a wonderful treat. I loved having the sheep around to pet. I can't wait to come back, it was a lovely peaceful place.

This was an excellent get away for anyone looking for a unique , quiet escape with friendly farm life. It's far enough from the noise and city life , yet minutes away from the fun Lambertville and New Hope for dinner, drinks and shopping.

Excellent get away. Private. Surrounded by a working farm with chickens and sheep wandering by. Location is beautiful. We spent a night before picking up our kids at Camp Onas and it was the perfect night away from home for us. We enjoyed seeing all the animals and walking through the fields and nearby nature preserve. Highly recommended.

Tullamore Farms is a magical place. I stayed there while I was in town for cooking classes at The Farm Cooking School (thefa(URL HIDDEN) which is less than 15 minutes down the road (and a beautiful drive). I loved staying in The Nest - it was perfect for one person. The kitchen is really nice and the apartment is overall bigger than it looks in the photos. I wouldn't recommend The Nest for two people who are not incredibly comfortable with each other, as the bathroom connects to the bedroom and there is no door (just a curtain) between the bedroom and bathroom. I can't wait to return!!

Jeanmaries farm is such an amazingly beautiful place away from the city. We went for the weekend with no real plan and spent the day hanging in the hammocks, we could've stayed there forever! The Nest is exactly as advertised, so clean and Jeanmarie was an excellent hostess who was clearly attentive to any requests. Can't recommend enough!!!

Jeanmarie User ProfileJeanmarie is a superhost.

I have owned and operated my farm for 17 years, caring for creatures and serving my community. I have an uncompromising reverence for animals and a deep commitment to the environment. I started hosting guests and expanding into Agri-tourism in 2014. I have enjoyed meeting people and sharing the beauty of the farm with them. I have two grown daughters who live and help out on our 200 acre farm.
