Room in large bungalow with en suite and own entrance. Comfy bed with good but basic furniture. Swaffham Prior is a village near Cambridge, Newmarket and Ely and is close to the beautiful Anglesey Abbey and gardens. A good bouncing off point!
Room is available for 1 or 2 and breakfast is also offered if required. Happy to advise with local sightseeing and walks etc. Giving directions to venues etc. Television and hairdryer in the room and shower in the en suite.
Double bedroom and en suite bathroom. Breakfast may be eaten in the kitchen or dining room.
Interaction with guests
Happy to help with directions to local places of interest such as Wicken Fen, Anglesey Abbey, Cambridge, historic buildings and lovely river for punting or rowing. Fitzwilliam Museum and University museums which are all free. Botanic gardens - one of the loveliest in the world. Local eating out for evening meals.
Other things to note
Swaffham Prior village is a typical English village with two windmills and two churches next door to each other! A local pub which provides food throughout the day and another one with an excellent chef in nearby Reach This is one mile walk or 10 minutes by car. Winding streets with an unusual variety of houses, cottages and gardens. Attractive and quiet on the edge of the Fens.
Would expect guests to be out during the daytime. As it is a quiet village would hope that people would respect that. No smoking in the bungalow. Main part of the bungalow is to be kept private for my husband and I at evening mealtimes.

I am young for my age (over 50) and enjoy walking, cycling, reading and most activities. I am a yoga teacher and teach in Cambridge and locally. My husband is a P.E. teacher and we share the same interests. Also enjoy holidays and days out when possible!
