We are strict no Party property but it is ideal for family friendly entertaining
including the special family pet BUt please not on the polished floorboards as they are polished.
Gourmet kitchen with super market and speciality food outlets across the road but no need to slave as there are many budget and Gourmet Restaurants nearby.
Please No Smoking as it spoils it for the next guests.

There was some screw up with the booking system and Kookaburra Cottage was double booked. Thank goodness Maggie had another 3 bdrm house for us to stay in in Subiaco. We ended up staying at Jumbuck Cottage 153 Railway Rd. Lovely house that was clean and well maintained. All the appliances worked well. Showers were great, though you have to use the squeegee provided to clear water on the floor that gets under the shower curtain. Only small thing is that there is only one outer gate remote. When the gate is closed there is no other way into the grounds. So if you're a bit security conscious and want to keep the gate closed all the time, there's no spare remote to share with your group.

Fantastic location. A short walk into Subiaco and the excellent Saturday Subiaco markets. House is well presented and has all necessary amenities for self catering. The shower in the bathroom has no screen, and if more than one or two are showering it's hard to keep the wider bathroom/laundry area dry.

Kookaburra Cottage was an absolute dream to stay in! We have now stayed there 3 times on our travels to Perth and each time had been wonderful. The cottage is centrally located and great close by great cafes/restaurants/bars. I cant recommend it enough! Just book this place. It was great. Maggie and Jim were fantastic. Subiaco is a great neighbourhood and here you are close to everything (short car or train ride to Cottesloe beach, the city, Kings Park etc.) Saturday mornings go to the Subiaco Public School right nearby for their farmer's market. Boucla to the left on Rokeby is amazing for coffee/snacks (there are more than a dozen good coffee shops within a few blocks!). Farmer Jacks across the street is a great supermarket and along Rokeby you have so many options for food. Loved it. We were there with small children and it was great for them too (we went to 10 different playgrounds within walking distance while staying here).

As it is my business it is run as a business but also for the benefit of my customers. I net work with a fellow short term letter Jim Halliday and I do the bookings and accounts and he does the "bloke" work and this wins for all of us him you me!!!! This allows for 24/7 Looking after you except that we are early sleepers and risers.
