Beautiful loft located in the heart of San Francisco & only 1 block to Fisherman's Wharf, Pier 39, North Beach, Lombard Street, & other fun SF attractions!

The space

BEDS: 2 queen beds
SOFA: this is not a sofa bed, but can accommodate one extra person if needed.

Large loft with gorgeous floor to ceiling windows with views of the city & small park. Furnishings are a mix of new & vintage, providing a genuine at-home environment. The loft consists of ONE big room, with 2 queen beds, a sofa, & a kitchenette/bar area.

You have the cozy feel at home while on vacation – a place you will want to kick-off your shoes after a full day of site seeing & lounge in the back yard. Walk to an amazing selection of restaurants or pick up groceries from Trader Joe's & Safeway a few blocks away for a home cooked meal.

A great location for a vacation or business travel experience, or looking for a quiet, clean, comfortable & special place to stay.

Guest access

FEATURES & AMENITIES:
1. Bar/Kitchenette (toaster, microwave, coffee maker, counter oven & hotplate stove). It does NOT have a full oven & is not a full kitchen
2. Private bed & bathroom
4. Bed & bathroom linens
5. Free Wireless Internet
6. TV/Cable & DVD Player
7. Gorgeous views with a cute park right across the street!
8. This place (and to be honest all of San Francisco) is not ideal for honeymooners. It is a place for going out and enjoying he city and spending little time at home. If you are on a honeymoon, stay outside of San Francisco, Sausalito is much more romantic and has gorgeous bigger places

We have a closet in the 3rd floor hall now with plenty of new fresh sheets, towels, & supplies.

Interaction with guests

Self check-in available. All the doors are coded entry, so you will be able to arrive as you wish.

You can ask us any questions about what is going on in San Francisco or the Bay area, & since our company provides Activities & Adventures to San Francisco locals, you will have the inside scoop on what is going on!

Other things to note

1. We are always available in our office if you have any questions.
2. There are no cats/pets on site.
3. Absolutely NO SMOKING in or around the property.
4. We do not have parking at the premises. Metered street parking or daily parking is available at one of 3 garages located close by.
5. This is a *loft*, common in San Francisco. This means it is one big room with kitchen, sleeping area, sofa, table, & a bathroom.
6. We have a crib upon request.
7. There is a bar located a few doors down. Like any other city, there can be quite a bit of noise on a Friday & Saturday night until the bar close down. 2

The location is unbeatable - stone's throw away from the waterfront (perfect for a morning/ sunset stroll), round the corner from The Buena Vista (my fav. Irish coffee), lots of good food options also within walking distance, etc. However, that also means you should expect some noise, particularly on weekend nights. My mom had some trouble sleeping that Friday night, because the bar downstairs was rather noisy. So this would not be a good location if you're a light sleeper over for the weekend. Nonetheless, we had a good stay in the apartment. Ellie responds very quickly to my messages and requests; I also appreciate the laundry service and spacious common lounge. The location makes it particularly ideal for weekday visits; far away from the noise and bustle, yet close enough to the action.

Well, what can I say? Ellie was the most lovely, charismatic, funny and helpful person imaginable. She went above and beyond what we expected as an Airbnb host and really made this trip for us. Very easy communication with her with fast responses and always willing to help, along with giving us great advice and suggestions about the area, plus a really secure, easy and hassle free check in and check out with a place to store our luggage on our last day due to having a late flight. Her place itself was perfect for us 3 adults. It isn't someone's home, more of a converted loft but that was never a problem for us. Wasn't a huge fan of the lights as they were bright and almost "club" like but to be fair we never really needed to turn them on as the windows are large and bring in a lot of light and there's a good light in the bathroom. The TV was a little temperamental as the signal would sometimes go, especially on the AMC channel but we never had much time to use the TV so it didn't cause an issue overall. The double beds were comfy and although I wasn't sure about the sofa bed initially, I was super comfortable the entire duration! It's not a huge loft but to me it felt cosy, and a home away from home. If you're not planning on staying in all day and using it as a base for the evening then there shouldn't be any problems. The bathroom was fine, and the shower wonderful although the handle seemed to be coming off so it could do with a few touch ups. Small kitchen area with mini fridge, a sink, cutlery, and microwave. It suited us since we weren't planning on cooking anyway but was nice to store quick meals like sandwiches and drinks. The air con and two fans were nice to have, and the other amenities like the washer, dryer, hair dryer and iron was very handy. Lovely view from the windows, close and in walking distance to everything you would need (Pier 39, cable cars, Ghirardelli, restaurants, Walgreens, a lovely clothing store called 'Ross Dress For Less', Hop on Hop off buses and more. Amazing diner two floors below!!! Super recommend Joanie's who is a wonderful, hilarious character :) It does get a little noisy on the weekend but it didn't effect our stay or our sleep, it just depends on whether you're a light or heavy sleeper. The area felt incredibly safe, although you will probably encounter a lot of homeless in Fisherman's Wharf but we never had problems with them and they mostly keep to themselves. The other locals are VERY friendly and we had wonderful chats with a whole variety of people. It really was a very sociable place to stay in :) All in all, our 10 day trip couldn't have been more perfect and Ellie and her place really solidified...
