This is a lovely cottage. Really quiet with fantastic views over the village and the valley. It’s very comfortable, and the wood burner was a great feature and kept us warm during the cold weather. It’s about a 15 min walk to 2 boulangeries in the village. Vigeois is well positioned to explore the area. The village of Turenne, about 40 mins away is a must.

Fabulous gite in a beautiful part of the world. Well equipped, really spacious and heaps of character. The outdoor area is a real sun trap with a great view, there is a bbq which was great. The wood burner kept the place very cosy on a cool evening. The lake nearby is very nice and has a with the beach is a handy spot for swimming. Highly recommended.

Everything was as described and shown, check-in was easy - and flexible. Although I did not meet Simone and Peter, Simone was always "on call", or so it seemed, since she answered every mail and question immediately. I had a great time at this charming and cheerfull cottage. It is a quite place with great views on a southside patio that has sunshine almost all day - and where I spent a lot of my time. And yes, I got lucky with beautiful sunshine, but even if not, I would have enjoyed my stay in this place thanks to the cosy couch and the pillows and the blankets and the fireplace and, again, the view!

Our stay in vigeois was perfect. The cabin was beautiful and so cozy, and the outside space was perfect to relax with a book or a drink. The cabin is equipt with everything you need and it is the perfect location to get in your car and explore the dordogne! Absolutely loved it.

'What I love about my home is being able to share it with others'

We (Simone & Peter) have been coming to visit the Corrèze for the last 10 years. The first time we came here was because our friends had bought an old farm to renovate. What struck us most was the beautiful untouched countryside. Just sitting on old crates at the farm watching the stars at night with a glass of wine, was just magical. You don't need much to be content here, it's a bit like going back to basics and you truly appreciate your surroundings. If you love the outdoors, beautiful food and unspoilt nature this is the place to be.

Our passion is buying and renovating old houses, currently we have just sold one of our cottages (La Marteille) and purchased a new farm which we are renovating. This year we are also renting out our smaller cottage in Vigeois (also listed on airbnb). If you are interested in buying a property here, we are happy to help you and recommend people to you.

We both know how important a holiday is for you and your family, that is why we give it 100% to make your holiday one to remember. Making memories, that is what holidays are all about.

Carpe Diem!

p.s. For your peace of mind, we are a registered rental company in France and if you have questions we are here to help you at all times.
