A contemporary & pretty cottage down a quiet lane in the centre of Crickhowell, so ideal for being able to just walk out in the evenings for a meal. Crickhowell has become 'festival city' now holding the Walking Festival in February, Green Man Festival in August & Literary Festival in October. Nearby there is also the Hay Festival in May/June, Brecon Jazz Festival in August & every September brings the famous Abergavenny Food Festival. In July you can visit, The Royal Welsh Show at Builth Wells.

The space
Caboodles Cottage is perfectly position right in the centre of the beautiful town of Crickhowell. Our cottage is just a minutes walk away from the award winning high street, recently voted the best high street in all of the U.K.

We now have a free car parking space which is only a minute walk away from the cottage, in the small car park by the hairdressers at the top of our lane.

All shops, pubs & restaurants are independently owed by local people giving you an amazing experience. Stunning walks are available from the front door, due to Crickhowell being within the Brecon Beacons National Park & situated in the Black Mountains.

Guest access
You have access to all the cottage including the lovely sunny patio at the back of the cottage, where if you need to, you can store your bikes. All we ask is to treat our cottage as though it was your own & to enjoy it.

Location

Crickhowell, United Kingdom

Crickhowell is a small and well-preserved Georgian town on the A40 in the Usk Valley. The remains of a 13th century castle still stand in the town whilst the Iron Age hillfort of Crug Hywel, better known as Table Mountain, looks down upon the town from the flanks of Pen Cerrig-calch to the north.

The Beacons Way which passes through the town will take you steeply up there though more leisurely walks are available beside the River Usk or along the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal in nearby Llangattock. You will find that Crickhowell Walking Festival has become very well-established in recent years. You might also want to catch the town’s Dragon Festival.
