This charming, rustic cabin is a converted chicken coup located on 2 acres with a few other houses with classic country scenery. It has 1 bedroom and a loft bed above the main, open floor living space/kitchen. Its a cozy place to relax between adventures in the country, but still close to town.
This one bedroom cabin is a converted chicken coup on a 2 acre property in the country. There are also other houses located on the property but there is lots of open space and classic Sonoma County scenery. While it has a country feel it is still located close to downtown Penngrove, between Petaluma and Cotati. The cabin has one bedroom with a full bed and a queen loft bed above the living room. Getting to the loft bed requires climbing a ladder so it is not good for people with mobility restrictions or children. It is open and airy with lots of windows and natural light. The back door opens into our large garden. There is a full size fridge in the kitchen with decent counter space, sink, and cabinets. There is no stove/oven but there is a hot plate, toaster oven, and microwave. There is a large bathroom with a shower/tub combo. This is a converted barn with antique doors and windows. We have done our best to put screens on where possible but some windows just don't allow for it. Thus, you may happen upon a bug here and there.
The whole cabin including 1 bathroom and almost full kitchen. There is no stove right now but there is a double burner hot plate, toaster oven, and microwave. Guests can also enjoy the outdoor space including the big garden.
Interaction with guests
We live next door and we are happy to chat and show you around. You can be as private as you like.
Other things to note
As we are a country property the water source is a well. Pressure is not the same as city water but it does the job. We ask that people be conservative with water use as we are in a severe draught and our well does not recover as quickly as it used to. The house also drains into a septic tank thus we ask that guests do not use harsh chemical products, especially bleach . We also ask that guests be contentious about what they flush. This is not a good space for parties.
Please treat the space with respect and care and clean up after yourself. As I mentioned before we also ask that you be conservative with your water use, be gentle on the septic, and be gentle with the antique windows.
