Lakeside Maisonette is an idyllic holiday home with a spectacular lakefront location - you can hear the waves lapping on the lakeshore.

Secluded amongst native bush, the house has magnificent views of Lake Wakatipu, the Remarkables, Cecil Peak, and Walter Peak.

The property borders a Department of Conservation reserve with a lakeside walking track, and is only a few minutes walk from the lake.

Although it is only 6 km from Queenstown, the setting is beautiful and peaceful, and very private.

The space
The architecturally designed Maisonette is self-contained. Upstairs are a large living area with a small kitchen and a mezzanine platform. There is a wood burner for heating and the main window has a fly screen. A north-facing deck opens out from the living area. Downstairs are a bedroom with a queen sized bed and a bathroom with a washing machine. There is a heat pump in the bedroom and a fly screen on the bedroom window.

The house is perfect for a couple and is very popular as a honeymoon destination.

Live just outside Queenstown with my husband Marc. We are both keen trampers, ski tourers, windsurfers and bikers. I have a (very) small beekeeping business and Marc is an architect.

Our own house is just next door. We won't bother you but are available if you have any questions or problems during your stay. Having said that, we are not always at home as we also like to go on trips, so you need to be somewhat self sufficient.
