One bedroom with private bath is available in a two-bedroom flat with a stunning view of the river Shannon.
Smoking: Absolutely NO smoking anything in the apartment. The security deposit will be held for cleaning fees if there is any residual smoke smell inside.
Door Lock: The front door does NOT lock automatically. Please lock the door when you leave the apartment.
Checkout: Please turn off the water heater, lock the door and drop the keys through the mail slot on the front door.
Hot Water: The water heater may be off when you arrive. The dial next to the light switch over
the shoe rack by the front door controls the hot water. Feel free to set it to “on” when you arrive. If it was off when you arrived, please set it back to “off” when you leave.
Kitchen: You are free to use the refrigerator, dishes and cookware during your stay. Please wash everything you use and leave it to dry just to the side of the sink or put it back where you found it. You may use the salt, pepper, and oil next to the stove.
Please note that the rubbish, recycling (paper/cardboard/plastic) and glass are all in separate
bins. Rubbish can be put in one of the green bins found outside the back door on the ground floor in the parking area. Recycling (center) must be put in one of the clear bags and put in the
designated bins next to the rubbish bins. Glass (next to oven) has to be dropped off at a designated center. Please either take it with you or leave it in the glass bin in the apartment.
Fire Alarm: The alarm can be sensitive to things like kitchen smoke and is rather loud. If you (or someone else) accidentally sets it off, you can silence and reset it on the ground floor just next to the stairs. The instructions are clearly printed on the panel.
Cleaning: You are not expected to clean, other than doing any dishes you’ve used, before you leave. If you have any major spills that need to be tidied, there is broom, vacuum and mop in the hall closet near the front door. Cleaning products are under the kitchen sink.
Washing Machine: Feel free to use the washing machine in the kitchen. Please note that once
you turn it on and close the door, you CANNOT open the door until the wash/dry cycles are completely finished (may take several hours). Do NOT force open the door. Note that you have to press the “½ Load. Dryer” button down and set the drying time if you want the dryer to function at the end of the cycle. If you don’t want the dryer to work, be sure the button is raised
before you turn the machine on.
Linens/Towels: If these are not in the bedroom already, they have can be found in the washing machine in the kitchen.
