This is a timeshare resort that I usually go to once a year and while most of the cabins have wood burring stoves, unfortunately the one Colleen was given had been remolded and the stove was taken out. Working directly with the hotel & its management I tried to get the guest moved to a different cabin (during the 12 hours I was MIA). As it was New Years there were no other cabins available and when I informed Colleen, she became rude, irate & unreasonable; demanding a full refund and saying that the reason she booked was for the wood burning stove. Yet she stayed the entire time that she booked.
AirBnB customer support had to mediate the conversation and eventual refunded her the money, but also paid out what was due to me. Colleen has only been a member of AirBnB since Dec 2013 (the same month that she booked) and I believe she was not aware of the difference between the Ritz & the AirBnB community. I would recommend to all who use AirBnB to rent their space to carefully look at the user's rental history, paying specific attention to reviews, as well as trust & verification.
