For an extremely relaxing beach holiday in Thailand, consider the little known island of Koh Kho Khao. Our house is one of just 30 on the catered resort of Paradis Villas. You can choose to be self-sufficient or use the restaurant.
There is an additional cleaning fee to be paid in cash to the resort staff. It is as follows:
Per night -
per adult - 100Baht
per child aged 4 to 12 - 70 Baht
per child aged 0 to 3 - no fee
You would be staying at our house and our house is one of 30 houses at a resort called Paradis Villa. PV resort is one of very few resorts situated on the west coast of a long, deserted stretch of beach and offers beautiful sunsets, safe swimming, romantic seaside strolls, unspoiled nature and solitude. The onsite, open-air restaurant offers an extensive array of delicious Thai and European food, fast, efficient and friendly service and one of the best Panaeng curries in the region. Greet the warm, tropical mornings on your private terrace and arrange for breakfast to be delivered. Alternatively, cook your breakfast in the privacy of your own kitchen that offers basic conveniences.
The resort boasts two swimming pools but the real attraction here is the beach where you can lounge comfortably on chairs or flop onto a large bean bag to soak up the sun. Top the day off with a refreshing cocktail at the quaint beach bar while you watch the sun disappear below the horizon.
The villa itself has three bedrooms, two bathrooms with showers including one ensuite, kitchen, living room and terraces in the front and the back. The main living area is air conditioned as are each bedroom.
The lovely staff are happy to arrange diving and snorkelling trips or speedboat trips to nearby islands. Motorbikes are also available for rental at cheap prices and there are even two tuk-tuks you can drive yourself for larger parties if you wish to explore the island.
At the pier, you will also find some restaurants and a few shops for something different and you can alway hop on a long tail boat to the other side to visit the numerous shops and restaurants in Khao Lak about 25 minutes away.

How about shops and restaurants on the island?
We often stay on the resort for whole time since the restaurant sells basic cooking items but on the island there are several restaurants and some shops and tailors. If you want to go proper shopping, we recommend that you travel to Khao Lak on the mainland. It takes about 5 minutes by ferry to cross the water, then 20 minutes by minibus to get to Khao Lak.
What kind of activities do you recommend?
We recommend to hire a longtail boat, go on excursion to Koh Pratong (Buddha island) and Koh Pha to snorkleand explore the coral reefs. Contact our friendly staff to arrange activities suitable for your wishes.
