Thank you for finding us. We (Jeroen and Peter) offer you an unique place to stay in Amsterdam. Your cosy apartment has a private entrance and is in a quiet neighborhood from Amsterdam.

Although the Keizerinn BnB is located in a quiet neighborhood, you will find lots of small bars and restaurants in the direct surroundings. Within a ten minutes walk you are at the front of the famous Hermitage museum, the skinny bridge and the Artis Zoo. You can ask us anytime for more and actual information.

The space
You will stay on a unique ship type "Groninger Bol"which is completely renovated by the one of the owners of the ship (Peter). The ship, which is built in 1904, used to be an cargo ship in those days. Peter left the original details of the ship to make your stay one kind of it's own.

The Keizerinn is very well isolated and uses the most modern environmental friendly techniques to reduce your carbon steps! The floor heating gives the apartment a nice warmth, especially in winter time it will keep you feet nice and warm.

You can have a cosy seat in the original wheelhouse and when it is nice weather you can site on your own terrace on top of the boat. There you have a wonderful view over the canal and it's surroundings like the nearby park and the Hortus Botanicus.

You will have the most wonderful dreams when you sleep on our high standard pocket string mattress with a memory foam topping. To make your stay even more better we offer you free WIFI and television. You have also your own bathroom with shower and a separate toilet.

Guest access
As written you will stay in a 20m2 apartment with a private entrance! Very special is the cosy corner in the wheelhouse. Under the wheelhouse (accessible via a small stairs) you will find the original "Roef" the place where the shipper used to live. So you can experience Amsterdam in an unique way.

Other things to note
The minimum number of nights to book is 2 and 3 at the weekend.
The few nights in between bookings can also be booked.
The minimum number of nights during the Christmas period is 5.

Welcome on our boat! Me (Peter) and my partner Jeroen offer you a wonderfull stay at one of Amsterdams most beautifull spots. As an technical allrounder (I can fix nearly everything) is the reason that I was able to renovate this boat myself (with a little help from my friends :-)). The ship is originally build in 1904 and is a so called "Groninger Bol ship”. Although the ship is more than 100 years old, I modernised it to todays standards with keeping the authentic details. Jeroen and I hope that you will enjoy your stay with us. And we are happy to inform you about everything Amsterdam has to offer. Warm regards, Peter and Jeroen.
