Had a great stay here for 2 nights. Was about 30-40 minutes walk from Oxenholme since we didn't have a car, but couldn't fault the accommodation. Would definitely recommend!

A lovely and cosy stay on the edge of the Lake District. We stayed for three nights, taking in the rural delights. The caravan had everything we needed and the facilities were excellent - the hot seated shower and underfloor heating surpassed our expectations! The caravan is in an excellent location, 10 mins from civilisation in Kendal and about 25 mins to Windermere. Advice to other travellers: pack light as you won't have lots of space to store things. Second, watch your head - taller travellers may suffer occasionally from sore heads! (Not just because of the Kendal mint cake vodka from the local pub!) Thanks for having us, we would happily stay again :-) Tom

Harriet was very good with communication. The caravan is small but it is imacculate and very charming. The underfloor heating made it cosy despite the bad weather outside. It was fantastic for a 2 night stay.

Amazing little escape!!! Coming form Oxford and always hearing noise, I could not believe how quiet it is. The caravan cater to every need that me and my girlfriend could possibly have. Would not hesitate to book again

We loved our stay at the Lakeland caravan! It was cosy, clean, and had definitely been 'lovingly restored'. The caravan's location was great for our nearby adventures and as city folk we loved the peaceful surroundings. It was the perfect choice for our cosy couple's break. Thank you Harriet (and Elizabeth for helping us figure out the induction hob on a Sunday morning!)
