Joe was very welcoming and gave us a tour of his BnB to help us settle in comfortably. Every morning, a mini breakfast spread is provided which is definitely a good start to our day! The BnB is clean and looks true to the pictures provided, and the neighbourhood is safe and quiet…

One of the rare places on Airbnb that lives up to the second “b”. You’ll actually get a very nice continental breakfast here. Enjoy it on the large wraparound porch of this stately home right in the heart of the Mt. Pleasant neighborhood of DC. Will definitely stay here again.

To be honest I would not book this place again. The bathroom smelled of bleach and the bed was so uncomfortable my hips and back hurt.

Response from Leslie:
We regret you found the smell of our cleaning products offensive; we have had an extremely humid and rainy summer in DC and we do want to keep our bathrooms clean and mold-free. As for the bed, other guests have commented that it is quite comfortable, but bed comfort is a very subjective issue. Our apologies that you did not.

Our time at Leslie + Joe’s house was great. They were so helpful and the house was spacious and clean. It is close to great local restaurants.
