This bnb is just across the river from Kinderdijk, and we spent a great day cycling around the windmills, using bikes we borrowed from our hosts. The breakfast in the morning was great, and the room was very nice and clean.

We had such a great time staying here; the room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. It was close enough to Rotterdam when we wanted to go in, but also super close and convenient to go see the Windmills. The hostesses were very nice, accommodating and helpful. You should stay here!

We haven't chance to meet Annemarie but we did meet Rieks. He is an excellent host! He is extremely friendly and we were very warmly welcomed. The room, the bed, the bathroom were all great and a great value for the price. In the morning we were served nice breakfast and Rieks gave us two bikes to visit the windmills across the river. It rained a lot and was pretty cold, so when we came back Rieks met us with some hot tea to recover. Excellent experience, would recommend to anyone!

Overall, I had a very pleasant stay at Klippennest. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The bathroom was clean and modern and ample sized. I enjoyed 'visiting' out in Rieks' man-cave. Rieks went out of his way to see that I made it to and from the B&B from Rotterdam central train station. The ferry to the Kinderdijk side of the river was easy to get to and use. There was no schedule, it just ran back and forth all day, starting at about 6:00 a.m. There is a canal that runs past the windmills on the dike and a place that you can take boat rides up and down the canal. There are also bike and walking paths to use. The only down-side to my stay was that it rained a lot. Unfortunately, my hosts were unable to do anything about that...;) I still got out and got some nice photos. If I get back to the area, I wouldn't hesitate to stay at Klippennest.

This is an amazing B and B. We were warmly welcomed and offered coffee and given lots of information about the area. If you have bikes, it's a cheap crossing on the ferry to the Kinderdijk and wonderful villages, windmills and scenery. There is a 40 km route available from VVV. Delicious breakfast and plentiful. Annemarie and her husband are perfect hosts and have thought of all the small necessities you may need, hairdryer, toiletries and rich hot chocolate! The house is within 4 km for the water bus into Rottadam or Dordrecht which avoids tricky town parking. Would recommend the Breeka for a meal, do not be deceived by 'transport cafe' exterior, the food is amazing and moderately priced.

Annemarie & Rieks welcomed me at short notice to their humble home only a 25 minute walk & ferry to the Kinderdijk windmills. Without question or doubt, I recommend their calm services and company to travelers, young and old. Bed was comfortable, breakfast was delicious, and booking/reservation was with ease. Thank you for helping make my Netherlands photo trip a success.
