Our motto: WEGOTGEAR (and 4 kids)…
We are both practicing emergency medicine doctors who love the area and especially enjoy all that the Green Mountains have to offer. The winter ski season is fantastic and in fact we work at the local ski mountains as EM physicians. The spring time brings the amazing Vermont maple sugar season. We make about 20 gallons of syrup each year in our very own “sugar shack” located on this Dorset property. Nothing tastes like homemade Vermont maple syrup! The Green Mountain summers are truly intoxicating. We enjoy hiking on Manchester’s Lye Brook Falls section of the Appalachian trail only 15 minutes away and find great gratification tending to our 6 honeybee hives, also on the Dorset property. We have also been know to attend the Dorset horse show. It's quite a show! I really don’t have to explain the allure of the southern Vermont fall foliage… BREATHTAKING! Living in Vermont is without a doubt refreshing.
We built this home over a 3 year period of time with a family in mind.
The open floor plan is perfect for big family dinners and friendly gatherings.
