The apartment was very close to public transportation and it too long of a trip away from any major sights. Very clean and tidy apartment with a kind host. Overall great experience.

He has awesome instructions about how to use the public transportation and what restaurants are around. The location is kind of ghetto and takes about 1 hour to get into town on buses/trams.

Great Airbnb, its like a hotel! Gigi is a great host, great location right off the train. I recommend this spot if your headed to Rome and don't want to stay downtown with all the noise.

The neighborhood was more like a barrio, it's cheap for a reason. Reminded me of home actually, lol, so i wasn't turned off. Not bad for the price because we had a car, but it took an hour by tram to get into town. That said, the stop was across the street so it was conveni…

Response from Gigi:
Kind Patricia, first of all let me thank you for the "genuine" review, although it's highly different than how registered during your stay. The cop/maniac thing was not even mentioned when we asked feedbacks during your stay, and that is surely something that surprises us, so we went making some researches. The "movie scene" out of our control that seems to deserve almost all of the review attention was even better: a betrothed man who broke up few days from the marriage. He got drunk and started yelling against the whole world for that unfair painful life...quite different than a "maniac" ready to jump on girls that you imagined of (maybe the large amount of alcohol found inside your room after checkout created a different scenario). Could we do something in order to prevent that? Uhm...probably dispensing advices to anyone about the risks of marriage? That wouldn't work..but we hope you enjoyed the alternative thrilling and adrenalinic night. During the checkin time we always specify that the tram 5 and 14 go to Termini train station in 20-25 minutes, and that the tram 19 goes to Vatican City but it takes up to 1 hour and it would be better to go to Termini and then take the metro...suggestion unheard. Last but not least, the breakfast (tea, coffee, snacks and some croissants) was a present that we used to offer to our guests, and because of that we DO NOT mention in the list of the included services because we wanted to keep it as a complimentary surprise not subject to any review or payment. We were wrong, and probably we had to understand it was not appreciated by the moment you laughed at it at the arrival throwing it away (or maybe it was because you were already a bit high?) and for that reason we are considering to not give it anymore to our guests. I do not want to be judged also for what I offer more, and I am sorry you haven't been fair enough to consider that... Thank you very much for having chosen our place. Have a nice life, and...keep smiling!
