Enjoy beach life all year round in Panama at Uverito Beach! Go to the beach anytime you want, it is literally at your footsteps or relax in a hammock. This 3 bedroom 1 bath 2nd floor unit has all the amenities that will make your stay comfortable.
This 3 bedroom 1 bath apartment has a balcony with six seat outdoor dining table, a hammock, and rocking chairs to take advantage of the great ocean views. The apartment has Wi-Fi internet and a flat screen TV with satellite cable. The cozy kitchen has all the utensils and appliances you will need for a short or long-term stay. Air conditioners in the three bedrooms and hot water in the shower provides all the comfort of home.
Want to go to the beach? Just cross the street and your in the water at one end of Uverito Beach, which stretches 3.2 kilometers (2 miles). During the week, you'll have the beach to yourself. The beach has child-friendly waves that are great for enjoying the day.
The house is conveniently located just 10 minutes from the city of Las Tablas, which is recognized for its folk art, music, gastronomy, architecture, culture, and literature. Las Tablas is the capital of the province of Los Santos with a population of about 9,000, BUT during Carnival its population swells to more than 100,000 for four days of round-the-clock partying.
The drive from the beach to Las Tablas winds past farmland dotted with cattle and horses. If you want to go to a bigger city, then Chitre is only 30 minutes away, which gives you access to more shopping, healthcare, restaurants, and entertainment.
If you feel like getting out on the water, you can go to the Port of Mensabe, just a five minute drive around the corner from the house. Fishing is a major pastime and a number of pangas can be hired to go fishing.
Like to surf? We are only 30 minutes from Pedasi, which has some of the best surfing in Panama. You can also go snorkeling for the day at Iguana Island while at Pedasi.
And if you feel like kicking back, local restaurants in rustic eateries serve various seafood, fried fish, and ceviche for a few dollars each. Add an ice-cold beer for a buck and you can't beat the cool ocean breezes that come in.
Uverito Beach is the go-to beach for families on weekends, holidays, and school breaks, so it can be crowded at times. But during the week the wide, flat, dark-sand beach is empty and it's a nice place to hang out with friends and family.
Enjoy Uverito Beach by relaxing on the beach, checking out Las Tablas, surfing/snorkeling in Pedasi, or heading out on the water for some great fishing.
The best time to reserve your stay is now!

I was born and raised in Balboa, Panama City, but moved to California to pursue a college degree in 1992. Upon returning to Panama during a break, I took a family trip to Las Tablas and was introduced to Uverito Beach. I quickly found myself enjoying the people, location, and lifestyle. On my second trip to the area in 2003, I bought a house with a huge 4 foot wide hole in the middle of the roof. While I returned to California to work, my mom handled the renovations and did a great job. I have been renting the Uverito Beach House for over 10 years with several very satisfied renters. In 2015, I returned to purchase a two story duplex on the other end of Uverito Beach, which is called Casa Playa El Uverito. Now, when I fly into Panama City, I wait a night before making the trip to Uverito Beach to relax.
