Apple Trees is the ideal base from which to explore the beautiful area in and around Thurlestone. It's a charming house: suitable for large groups....lovely!

Walking distance to the local shop, pub and beach. We loved the decor, comfy beds and having a separate adult sitting room. The kids had great fun in the surf school at Bantham beach, collecting fresh apples from the garden and playing the games.

Our family of 6 adults 3 children and baby had a great week in Apple Trees plenty of space for everyone and very comfortable with every need catered for. Beautiful surroundings and plenty to see and do. Narrow lanes can take a bit of getting used to but would highly recommend.

Lovely family house, perfect for family groups. We were two families with three kids between us, so it was perfect. Lovely outside area at the house and close by to a whole bunch of beautiful beaches. So fab having a village shop (we were there every day) as well as village pub, all walking distance. Lovely part of the world. Charlotte was a great host, really helpful and communicative. Rose the house manager was also lovely and babysat for us. Couldn't recommend this enough.

Fantastic house and location! A beautiful part of the country with lots to offer- stunning beaches, water sports, coastal paths and estuaries, and great places to eat. We were 6 adults, a 3 year old, and 2 under ones, and were very comfortable in the house. You can walk to a couple beaches, coastal path, well stocked village shop, great pub, golf course and tennis courts from the house. Charlotte was a great host with prompt replies and accurate information. Rose, who lives next door, was also very helpful. We would definitely recommend Apple Trees!

A spacious, comfortable home, ideal for an extended family. Well equipped. Walking distance to the beach and the lovely village. Narrow country roads lanes make for slow driving progress, but the property is situated in beautiful countryside and unexpected sea views from the upstairs bedroom were a bonus.
