This is a single occupancy room with a town view.
This beautiful, casual, historic home, set in a residential neighborhood just 1.5 miles from the beach, is the oldest and best example of the Craftsman style of architecture found in the village of Seaside on the Monterey Peninsula. Built in 1910 by the Phelps family and located on a half-acre property, surrounded by organic gardens with private, gated parking, this property has views of Monterey Bay. Seaside is considered to be the sunniest place on the Bay.

Small, bright yet cozy room with shared bath in private home, single (twin) bed, Has a foot board so if you are very tall maybe not appropriate. (Although this is a very small room it is one of our most popular). It has a 15 square foot closet the hides all your luggage, hardwood floors with natural fiber area rug, desk, wireless internet, spa bath robe provided. Bath towels, hair dryer, Dr Bronners soap, shampoo and conditioner provided as well but you may still want to bring your own shampoo and toiletries. We also provide ear plugs for those light sleepers. A light take-away breakfast is provided. Iron/ironing board available upon request.
Rooms are cleaned with environmentally friendly products. Guest fridge, microwave and kettle in back porch. Main kitchen is closed to guests.

We are located less than a mile from Del Monte Beach where you can enjoy the sights and sounds of the sea lions, otters and various ocean birds of this protected marine sanctuary. We are also minutes from the Laguna Seca Race Track, the Monterey Fairgrounds (Jazz festival, Blues Festival!) and of course, if golf is your pleasure, Monterey Bay is the place to come!

*Note, this is a private home, no smoking, 10yrs of age and older please. We do have an outdoor cat and a small dog who does visit in the house but does not spend time in the guest rooms.
