We had a fabulous time at this Chalet style bungalow. Very spacious, great location, clean and comfortable. Greg was very responsive and gave good advice on a ski hire place when asked. There is a small bar opposite the house, a small supermarket within 100m walk and the Acr Family chairlift is only 5 mins walk away. We left our skis at Larry Addlers rental shop which is a 1 minute walk to the chairlift.

Great location in Niseko Grand Hirafu. Just off main road. Rented/ left skis at larry's each night which meant each day 5 min walk to collect and then able to jump straight onto lift (Ace family). This is is good practical arrangement. Greg was good at commicating/ answered questions promptly. Only heads up on property - 2 rooms with 3 people sleeping in each (so 3 couples wouldn't work). Apart from that good character/ nice chalet.

The place was well located 100m off the main street but quiet. For ski accommodation, this was the most spaciopus place I have stayed in, including cupboards for clothes, hanging space, an entry foyer for outside gear to be left in, and a great living area. Two convenience stores were 100 and 200m away, very handy. And there were plenty of restaurants nearby. Two bathrooms were great, heating was very good, kitchen well equipped. Loved it!!

Faultless. We (six young adults) had the most amazing week exploring Niseko from this incredible property! It's only once you've spent some time walking around town that you realise how central this stand-alone cabin really is; we would regularly hear people walking past admiring the house and the location, as they walked further down the hill presumably to their own accommodation. It comfortably slept six adults in beds (the singles are massive!) and the living room is enormous and perfect for unwinding after a day of skiing. The host hasn't gone overboard in decorating/furnishing so it doesn't feel too "lived-in", and you can truly make it your own for the week. Warmth was never an issue, and each bedroom has their own heaters. We brought an HDMI cord and were able to plug it into the TV and watch movies from the laptop, as well as watch back footage shot on the mountain that day. Kitchen has all the essentials, there's a washing machine that will wash&dry all with the push of a button, two spacious bathrooms (compared to Japanese standards) and Seicomart is a 90 second walk away for all food requirements. Bigfoot Bar is literally ten steps from the front door and was a perfect base for nights out; the crowd here can get noisy in peak winter but it wasn't a problem for us as we were out every night. The mountain is a ten minute uphill walk; avoid it in ski boots, but snowboarders can do it more efficiently than waiting for the free bus. If you are a group of friends or a family, this is quite possibly the most perfect base for a week in Niseko! Couldn't recommend highly enough.

"Fantastic location with lots of potential, however our stay was let down by a general lack of polish ie. plumbing issues in the second bathroom, a rudimentarily repaired kitchen tap, broken drawer/cupboard handles, bathroom door not closing properly, some ceiling leakage issues and other minor items. If these were addressed, I would recommend this place."

Response from Gregory:
Thanks for the comments. I was in the cabin two days before and all was fine other than one cupboard handle off but the drawer still easy to open. The management agent also has responded to me when I gave them your comments that "the staff had confirmed that "everything was as it should be [prior to checkin]. There were no leaks or issues with the kitchen tap either." There was an apparent issue with the second bathroom which the management agent responded to and as there was no follow up from the guest they assumed all was ok. They have since been in the cabin to check prior to the next guest and reported that are no issues." Have never seen any ceiling leaking issues and neither has the agent. I believe the overall look of the cabin is very nice, and is polished and that guest love it. I note that I did have some issues with Peter prior to his check-in which I haven't had from other guests.

Simply fantastic! Great value. There is no way to embellish how perfectly located this cabin is. Just spent a week here with 5 guys on a men's ski trip. The beds are cozy, and the kitchen is fully stocked. Would highly recommend this cabin and will happily stay here again.
