Hello, life is a big journey and traveling is one of the best things in it! Do you agree? I think you do. We are a couple who like to travel a lot and we enjoy to become citizen of a foreign and exciting city for a few days. To see how people live there, what they eat, what they like.... that is why we avoid organized trips and hotels. Our apartment is typical Budapest downtown apartment in a 130 years old building just in the middle of the town. It was our old dream to open our own tourist apartment, so we put all our heart in it. I (Kata) was born and raised in Budapest, during the country was under the communist regime, studied and worked in Budapest all my life but still each time I cross the Danube I feel happy to live in such a beautiful city. Viktor was born in Bulgaria in a bulgarian-hungarian family and came to study arts to Budapest more than 25 years ago. He fell in love with the city, watching it becoming central eastern Europe's most vibrant and culturally diverse place. I'll be happy to answer your questions about your holiday here and Viktor will be your host meeting you when arriving and will help to make your stay comfortable and rich. If this is your first visit to Budapest we can help you get the most out of your holiday with advice and suggestions about where to go, what to see and do, which restaurants and nightspots to try, concerts, museums and art galleries to visit, spas, bicycle tours, special events. Hope to welcome you soon, Kata and Viktor
