“To sleep late, close all the wooden shutters to form a comfortable, dark cocoon in the bedroom.”

The neighborhood boasts easy access to dining and entertainment, and a number of hotspots are nearby including one of the city’s best brunches, a nano-brewery, and a wine bar with live courtyard jazz multiple times a day! I was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, so (perhaps not surprisingly) I enjoy cooking, eating, listening to live music, drinking a good cocktail, and relaxing with friends and family. I've just returned home after living in Washington DC for the last 8.5 years. My partner and I are known by our friends for having impromptu oyster festivals in our yard during the spring, hosting (particularly strong) margarita parties in the summer, barbecuing and watching (SEC) college football in the fall, and fixing a darn good pot of gumbo in the winter and huddling with folks in front of a firepit. In other words, I thrive on making people feel welcome and on creating those moments in life that linger with you for years to come. Laissez les bon temps roulez, as they say!
