This has been our family home for over 50 years, since 1965. Our three children were raised here and one or more will likely be helping with your visit. Their Mother was a nurse and artist in Austin. She loved painting bluebonnets, and we have incorporated her art into the decor. The home was originally built in 1955 as a one-story ranch design. In 2016, it was taken down to the studs and transformed over the next two years into a duplex where the first floor was intentionally designed for guests' comfort and enjoyment. Besides my family, music has been my great love. I used to be a DJ in the daytime on one of Austin's country music radio stations, and got to play music at night -- sometimes right down the road at the Broken Spoke. That was in the 1970's. Nowadays, I pick and grin for fun. I hope you get to have fun and enjoy your time in Austin where we have some of the best music and creativity in the country!
