Hi, I'm Mary, was born and raised outside of Boston, then spent ten years in San Francisco where I went to law school and became a human rights lawyer. I then spent ten years in Marin. I moved to my farm in Sebastopol in 2004 because I wanted to live and raise my children in the country, with lots of space around us. I picked Sebastopol specifically for its open attitude, great schools, rural charm and it's proximity to the beach and Russian River. When I brought my children, then toddlers, to see the place it was in August and the trees were dripping with apples. The kids ate several each, and the next morning my two-year old said, "Mommy, I want to go back to the apple house." And the rest was history. We are really happy here, eating from the trees and garden, sharing meals with friends, waking and going to sleep to the sights and sounds of nature. We love it here and hope you will too. We love the diversity the Bay Area offers and we appreciate hosting nice people from all walks of life!
