Sem and I initially got involved in Aibrnb to save for our own holiday, but now do it just for the pure pleasure of it. Maybe we have just been lucky, but our guests have been totally delightful. I am recently retired,(I think) having spent the last twenty years working in developing countries on Australian Aid funded programs. I say I think, because every now and then I get tempted back…maybe it’s a country I haven’t been to, or some project that looks particularly interesting, or maybe it’s just wonder lust, but something calls to me. Generally though, I am just happy stopping here in Noosa. It is such a chilled out place to live; my mornings start with a walk along the beach, usually early, leaving the first foot prints in the sand. When I can I go to the gym. Sem works in hospitality for a large resort. As a Fijian, hospitality runs in his blood…jostling for room with his love of football; he gets very excited when a guest arrives who shares his passion… I’m afraid I’m not so good to talk with about fouls and trys and offsides. We both love cooking, which is different to saying we are good cooks. We are adventurous cooks, addicted to trying new things, some successes and some failures, but always interesting. And we both love photography and art. Mostly though we love the water. We met when Sem worked on the dive boats in Fiji. Unfortunately this now means that I am possibly one of the more experienced divers that I know with over a thousand dives under my belt, but I am also one of the worst divers I know. I simply have never had to think for myself when diving, leaving Sem to do it all for me. Anyway, we look forward to meeting you and hearing YOUR stories. Cheers
