The Family stay was excellent for all ages the house was perfect big kitchen quiet to room and all big bedrooms. Easy to find and close to some local bits and easy to get to Carrick on Shannon and lough key Forrest park

Desde o inicio procuravamos uma casa para acomodar a minha familia de 6 pessoas que iria viajar de Portugal para visitar a minha filha e namorado. Encontrámos uma casa com as condições que pareciam ser perfeitas e num local lindissimo. O David mostrou-se sempre muito simpáitico, acessivel e disponível Quase na data de ir para a Irlanda perguntei ao David se poderia alterar a nossa reserva de 6 para 8 possoas e a resposta foi de imediato afirmativa. Ao chegar à casa não houve surpresas. Era exactamente de acordo com as fotos e como descrito nos comentários. Encontrámos uma casa com sabor a casa. Muito aconchegante, confortável, com o essencial para viver. Bem decorada e quentinha. Como planeamos viajar para a Irlanda com alguma frequencia, certamente a casa do David será a nossa primeira escolha. Muito obrigada por tanto David.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful Irish home. The hosts were very friendly and met us on arrival. They were available if we had any questions and made us feel very welcome. The house itself was very clean and spacious. There were 2 adults and 3 children in our group and we all felt very comfortable and relaxed in the house. The location is also lovely, within walking distance of the shops, park and cafe. And many places to visit within a short driving distance. The rear garden was also a bonus, as we had lovely weather and were able to sit outside. This home had all the amenities required for a great stay and we will definitely be returning again soon!

I had a great 2-day stay at this Airbnb! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described in the listing. The host was friendly, responsive, and made check-in very easy. The location was convenient and quiet — perfect for a short trip. I’d definitely stay here again. Thank you for a pleasant experience!

We were more than satisfied with the accommodation. We were greeted by horses and the extremely sweet little dog Minnie, and then by delicious scones in the apartment. The area is beautiful and we went on several day trips to Connemara National Park, Burren National Park, the Aran Islands/Cliffs of Moher and Galway. What's more, the area was just perfect for us and the children. My daughters loved feeding the horses and playing with Minnie the dog. Or, if it rains a little, there is additional room for playing, which is equipped with some toys, table tennis, etc. Maura responded quickly to minor problems and helped us out, and was generally very accommodating. If we ever visit Ireland again, we will definitely stop by here again.

The place was very clean and john gave us a tour of the house when we reached even at 10 pm. Very responsive hosts.

We really enjoyed our stay at David's Holiday Home on the Kilronan Castle Estate. The location proved convenient for day trips to Co. Donegal, Co. Galway, and especially Co. Sligo (which was one of our favorites!). The unit had everything we needed for our family of 4 (including 2 teens) to spread out and enjoy, prepare meals, and even do laundry (we stayed there during the middle of a multi-week trip to UK & Ireland.) Everything was as described in the place- and, importantly, the beds were comfortable. My family enjoyed exploring the castle grounds, while I (Sean's wife) splurged for a wonderful massage and Thermal Suite at the Spa. Hubby & I also enjoyed a Guinness in the castle Dungeon Bar a couple of nights during our stay. Check-in & other instructions were clear and easy to follow. David was prompt in following up with any questions we had. We would happily stay again and/ or recommend to others.

Fabulous stay. House was beautiful and had everything we wanted for our trip. Hot tub was a definite highlight. Very comfortable with spectacular views. House is down a narrow country lane so just be aware of that. Would recommend highly for a lovely relaxing stay.

Would highly recommend, the views from the place are stunning and it was fantastic to be able to wake up to views of the River Shannon. Lanesborough is a nice little town, would recommend the Italian restaurant that has just recently opened there and the supermarket is very good. A very peaceful and relaxing experience.

we spent a long weekend at Karens apartment and would highly recommend it. The apartment was lovely really airy and spacious, it was spotless clean and had everything you could need for your stay. The balcony was lovely to sit out in the evening watching the boats go by. It's really well situated with everything within a few minutes walk. Karen was great to deal with , responding within a few minutes. The bottle of wine was appreciated and enjoyed. We definitely will return .

We enjoyed our stay in the spacious and well equipped house that our host Philip arranged for us (due to the power loss cause by a storm in the original house, Philip suggested a Carrick self catering house in Carrick-on-Shannon). Located right in the center, we had a private parking, pubs and restaurants at our doorstep and a view on the beautiful Carrick marina. Philip was very friendly and helped us feel super welcome. All in all, a nice cosy house in a perfect central location.

Ray and Aisling were wonderful hosts. The cottage was not only beautifully furnished but also spotlessly clean. It had everything we needed, and the kitchen was very well equipped. For us, the location was perfect - quiet and in less than 10 minutes to Arhenry, with supermarkets and restaurants close by. Highly recommended!

Christine was a lovely host, very communicative and helpful. The property is newly renovated, rooms were spotless, beds comfortable with plenty of towels etc available. Very well equipped in the centre of the town so perfect for our needs. Will definitely stay again when we visit the area

Ita's place is in a perfect, quiet location, the place was spotless when we arrived, and she always responded quickly whenever we had a question. The pictures don't do it justice 100%, it's far more spacious than it looks. Easy to access with vehicle, road up to the house is properly taken care of. Many beautiful sunsets we're seen on our stay as well - great views from the living room. Internet is fast. Not much else to say, our stay was perfect. Thanks again Ita!

Gail’s place exceeded my expectations. The kitchen includes a separate sitting and dining area, so it was not at all pokey. Although it is above a cafe/pizza shop with lovely cooking smells, it was quiet in the evening. The apartment had everything we needed. The one drawback is there is no number to the apartment and so you have converse by messenger and meet Gail for key handover.

We had a really memorable stay. Tom and Christina were really helpful, friendly and very welcoming, every detail they gave was perfect. The studio was our perfect getaway, a very peaceful and quiet locality. We went by the recommendations given by Tom and Christina, they were all worth it. They also have two labs who were very loving and friendly. We can’t wait to come back here, the kind of place where you could have the most relaxed vacation :)

A really lovely, clean and spacious apartment in a superb location looking directly out onto the Shannon. A nice quiet spot with Glancy's Bar close by and the rest of Carrick just a short walk over the bridge. The apartment is immaculate and very stylish and Susan left us with fresh milk, orange juice, chocolate, tea, coffee, etc. The beds were comfortable, there were plenty of towels and plenty of storage space. Contact with Susan was great, initially using Airbnb messaging and then by phone and whats-app. She also left us a list of pubs, restaurants and things to do. We thought the cost was quite high but it's not bad when split between the 5 of us and it's on a par with whatever else is available in Carrick - and we were lucky to get it because there wasn't that much available - Carrick is a very popular place! Overall we had a fantastic stay, wouldn't hesitate to recommend Susan and would look forward to staying again if we return.

Nous avons passé deux nuits ressourçantes chez Anne Marie. Nous étions au calme et son logement est très bien équipé et très propre. Nous avons adoré les environs et elle a su nous conseiller plein de super endroits à visiter ! Sligo et sa région sont très intéressant avec beaucoup de choses à faire (randonnées, vélo, plage…). Mention spéciale à Will et Lexi pour leur accueil et pour tous les jeux mis à disposition pour les enfants, nous avons adoré ! Merci Anne Marie et bonne continuation !

We were in Knockvicar to research our family roots so Anne's place was perfect because we could access all the local graveyards/Leitrim Heritage Centre, Ballinamore, Drumshabo music festival etc. Anne was super-helpful but also respected our privacy. She was there if needed. Loved her spacious kitchen, comfortable beds, extras left in the fridge for us on a very late arrival from Cork, esp milk and tea. Plenty of supplies in the bathroom and the place was spotless. We had two very peaceful/quiet nights of sleep and really enjoyed our stay in Knockvicar. Thank u Anne
