we had an amazing stay at Marina's beautiful villa. it's even more stunning than the photos. The pool and BBQ room were perfect outside areas that kept the kids busy and entertained and in eyesight. Indoors was beautifully clean and the kitchen has everything you need. The host kindly provided loads of fresh fruit, some juice and some lovely cheese, breads and cold meats on arrival. If you are looking for a tranquil holiday location i'd highly recommend and definitely stay again.

Our stay at the modern villa in Croatia with a beautiful pool was wonderful. The host was exceptionally hospitable and treated us to a delicious Croatian meal. The villa itself was beautifully designed, and we had a great time relaxing by the pool. We left with fantastic memories and highly recommend this place.

First of all - it was a wonderful vacation. Ana and her parents/grandpa are very nice and helpful hosts. On our arrival they offered us a plate with dalmatian groceries (cheese, ham, red/white wine, beer and bread) They helped us with every question we had, gave some predictions on possible journeys and all that stuff. The house is also very nice and well equipped. There is nearly everything you can even think about. Only thing we missed is a normal coffee machine. Ana can provide you a capsule machine, but this capsules are way more expensive than normal coffee. So it was cheaper to buy a complete coffee machine (15€ at Plodine) and coffee, instead of buying those capsules! ;-) Pool is big (8m x 4m) and crystal clear. For upcoming rentals I would like to leave some general information - Be aware that in an area of 10km is nearly nothing. The local store (5 min away) is very expensive and the first "real" supermarket (Plodine) is in Makarska (35 Min by car!) - Please make sure that you change money at a "real bank" and not using an ATM standing on the sideway. This ATM will charge you with a unbeliveable fee of 20-25% - regardless of the usage of EC/Master or Visa-Card !!! - Just skip Makarska as a "sight seeing idea" - its completly overcrouded and very loud due to "rich people" driving their Lamborghinis, Porsches forth and back on the main road where the restaurants are located. The stone beach is only 5m depth so you have to lay there like fish in a tin. - Please be aware, that the house is located in a valley. So the mobile network is almost weired. You dont even have EDGE. The house offers a WiFi but this is (for sure) also connected to the mobile network. The external antennas gain more speed than a smartphone/tablet but this network seems to be heavily overcrouded - due to only one mobile tower for the complete region. So in times where a lot of people be at home (mostly on weekends and after 1700) the speed drops to 1Mbit!!! No possibility to stream videos for the kids or even listen to streamed radio. Due to this (kids can't watch Netflix/Disney eg!) - and this my ONLY suggestion to Ana to achieve the Top-Level - I would recommend to buy a satelite station for TV. Current TV in the house only has up to 5 croatian broadcasting stations and everything is analog. All other offered stations are encrypted. So this is also no option for kids. With a satelite station you can offer german/english broadcasting in digital by only spending 100€ once. That's it. I highly recommend Ana and her house and please make sure that you play a round of BALOTE with her grandpa. He's a master :) Thank you for an awesome vacation.

We had a great time here. The hosts were excellent communicators and were helpful throughout our stay. They helped with all our requests and checked in with us throughout which we appreciated. The actual villa is great. It is clean, private and great for children, we felt very safe there. The pool and outdoor area is fantastic. Great, large pool and an area for the entire family to sit down under shade when it’s especially hot. The AC in the living room was great and meant the living room and kitchen area was always a nice cool temperature, as it was quite hot outside while we were here. We had a small issue with the pool one day and it was quickly fixed which we were appreciative of. The outdoor area is well kept and routinely cleaned by the owner, too. We really felt at home here and had a fantastic stay. Highly recommended!

Unforgettable stay at Villa Ivana We were warmly welcomed and immediately felt welcome. As a welcome, there was a lovingly prepared plate and well-stocked drinks in the fridge – just perfect to arrive after arrival. Everything we needed was there, and the hosts really went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. For questions, such as where to buy fresh fish, Ante immediately gave us helpful tips. The service was consistently personal and attentive. The house itself was beautiful and absolutely clean, comfortably furnished and equipped with everything you would need for a relaxing holiday. The quietness at night was just fantastic, we were able to really unwind and relax. We will definitely be back and would like to thank Ivana , Ante and team again.

We enjoyed a week in this amazing house during late May, which easily accommodated eight of us without ever feeling cramped. From day one Ana, our host, was exceptionally proactive, guiding us to the property - no small feat, as it’s tucked away in the hills of the Imotski area, embraced by forest and vineyards. Ana kindly let us check in late after our long drive from Zagreb, greeting us with local tips and a selection of homemade rakija and other spirits (not for the faint-hearted :D). Everything was spotlessly clean, including the pool and jacuzzi. All the bedrooms are spacious, each with a very large, comfortable bed - rare for such a big group. The football pitch and tennis court are in great shape, and we had loads of fun making full use of them. The location is perfect if you got a car and want somewhere a little remote yet still only 5–10 minutes from Lidl and other larger shops, and about 35 minutes from the coast. We would definitely like to revisit this wonderful place!

The apartment's amenities are good and even have some extras like a sandwich maker or an ice maker. The tavern in the basement is a perfect place to spend extensive party nights. Unfortunately, the cooling of the refrigerators did not work properly during our stay, which was probably an exception. Unfortunately, the wifi only worked downstairs in the living room, too. During the day it can get a bit noisy by trucks passing by the property. It is still a great house in a quiet location, but you need a car to reach places worth seeing. Otherwise, communicating with the house manager was easy, quick, and she was always available, also to quickly fix any deficiencies. Conclusion: We would come back anytime

The place is great and we had a wonderful week there. The garden is spacious and ideal for us as we arrived with two dogs. There are many seating areas and a nice, large pool. The rooms are bright, clean and modernly furnished. Particularly noteworthy are the air conditioning and the fly screens on the bedroom windows, which made the hot nights more pleasant. There are good shopping and small, cozy restaurants nearby. The hosts were also extremely friendly and helpful. They were always available to help and made sure we felt completely comfortable.

Beautiful stone house that preserves the spirit of the past and yet is modernly decorated. The hosts were extremely kind and were at my service the whole time. The surroundings are peaceful and quiet, ideal for a vacation. I absolutely recommend it to everyone !

The host was very kind, she gave us all the support we needed. The check-in and check-out process went very easily without encountering any difficulties. The pool was excellent for children, the Makarska Riviera is relatively close, and the beaches indicated in the property description are excellent, I recommend Brela beach. Excellent service-price ratio. Thanks Ante!
