The Hideaway was an absolute delight to stay in. Lovely comfortable accomodation with lots of very thoughtful extras from the hosts. The hosts also provided very useful information and tips about parking. The location in Oakham is superb just minutes from a range of excellent restaurants and shops. We would highly recommend it

Excellent property in the heart of Stamford. Apartment has everything you need for a weekend stay. Decor is cool with a traditional twist. We would definitely recommend and would love to stay again.

Very nice place. Good for a night weekend away to Rutland. Ten mins from the water and amazing pub called the fox for Sunday lunch

Fabulous location in the centre of town with shops, restaurants, and local amenities close by. We enjoyed views from the period bay windows of the apartment, which was clean and spacious and had been equipped well, together with supplies of welcoming ‘treats’ (biscuits, crisps, fresh milk, butter, together with various coffees and teas) and eggs from the hosts own hens. Ashley and Lydia communicated very responsively and in a helpful and friendly way and provided loads of useful instructions and local recommendations for our stay. Checking in / out was straightforward, despite our somewhat limited experience in using the key safe supplied! Thank you, we were very happy with our stay and look forward to visiting again 😊

What a great place. Easy to find and get in, no Crystal Maze inspired hunt for the key as there is an electronic lock. The kitchen is well stocked, tea, coffee, milk etc. Has everything you need to make a meal. Living room is comfy. Bed is also very comfy. Shower is warm and works well. WiFi is a good speed. They was an iron and hairdryer. This is a great location, ten mins walk into Stamford and its array of drinking places and restaurants. We would definitely recommend and will be booking in very soon. Beautiful flat in lovely, peaceful village location. Easy access to lake and surrounded by lots of interesting places to visit and things to do and see. Cecilie is a friendly and welcoming host and Lottie the dog is just as lovely. Cecilie gave us lots of good local recommendations. We didn't get to try them all so we'll definitely be back!

Great location in a pretty and peaceful village. Provided a much needed relaxing break. Enjoyed the nearby walk accessed through the church yard with the view of the countryside beyond. Clock Cottage is a well thought out property. Open plan, providing comfort and calm. All essentials plus added extras; the luxury of the rolled top bath & bath robes, a welcoming box of treats & drinks. Fairy Lights added a cosy glow above the bifold doors at night. There's also a great spacious bathroom with a fab shower. Can easily divert between the rainfall and hand shower heads, with plenty of hot water. Loved the beautiful garden and patio area. Private access from on street parking right outside through a separate gate with stones and level paving leading to the bifold doors. Established beautiful trees, shrubs and flowers edge the property and grounds with a lovely large lawn to enjoy in the sunshine. My dog did! Rutland Water is a short drive away. Will return to explore more.

This was our first Air B&B experience. If Hugh and his Emma are anything to go by as hosts we will always choose this option over any hotel. They helped us out of the way to make us feel at home. We were in-between selling a house thus required a month long place to reside. With the amount of baggage and luggage we could not have stayed anywhere else. The family let us use their shed space and took the burden off us. The entire property is just "wow". Endless green fields with local habitat, horses in barns, pet chickens and beautifully landscaped gardens around the whole palace like estate. A month is a lot of time but the family was very proactive to any queries or requirements. The dwelling itself has a lot of character, Endless paintings and views to die for. Not to mention the collection of multitude of books. The host had provided detailed information pack about anything and everything. We wish them prosperity and happiness in all future endeavours. Hugh do take a break!

The Apple Loft is absolutely incredible, it was so clean. I wish I was there longer. The linen smelled amazing, the bed was so comfortable. The shower! It was like a jet wash, the pressure was brilliant. Charlotte is such a lovely, genuine, kind host. Thank you for everything! I wholeheartedly recommend staying with Charlotte at The Apple Loft.

Carole and Michael are delightful hosts. When I arrived they were welcoming and helpful. The rooms are in immaculate order in a peaceful and tranquil part of Peterborough. Highly recommended.

A beautiful converted cottage with a recently refurbished feel. Very close to Nottingham (20 mins by car to the centre) and a very private area. Paul and Suzie were very accommodating and helpful.

Booked the apartment for a work colleague over from India. ideal location for the train station and lots of local amenities.

We spent two very comfortable nights at Fennel Folly. It’s in a great location and was very dog friendly. If it had been warmer (although we had gorgeous sunny weather!) would have loved to make more use of the lovely balcony. We will definitely recommend to friends and family who will be visiting such a beautiful area.

We had a lovely long weekend away in Stamford, staying in Lily Pad. It was perfect; everything from the location of the property, the view, everything that the flat is. We’re already planning our return trip!

This booking was for my uncle to stay while visiting us (we live locally). He found it very comfortable and Lindsay very helpful and pleasant. He had his car parked there and all was very safe and secure. Would recommend.
