This was the perfect location for our ski weekend: the apartment is cozy, nicely decorated, and had everything we needed for eating in and relaxing. We really appreciated the easy, walkable accessibility to Sugar Mountain, and the view from the apartment was just beautiful.

Dirk and his wife were incredible hosts! The cute apartment was everything as listed! The full kitchen was very accommodating!We walked right up the road and to the chairlift without having to park and take a shuttle! We loved our weekend getaway and would definitely book this listing again!!

We came to Sugar Mountain to escape the summer heat and enjoy a weekend of hiking. The condo is very easy to find and is conveniently located to many trails, parks and restaurants in the area. There's something here for everyone. The setting is wooded and very relaxing. This condo has everything that one could need for a comfortable stay. Dirk was in communication frequently before the stay and provided many details about the place. We could not have asked for an easier process to check in and check out.

Our stay was great! It was about 5 minutes from the parkway which was really convenient for what we came for. It was a bit of a drive to downtown Boone, but if you take the parkway to get from place to place it makes it fun. Can't wait to come stay again soon!

What a beautiful little gem! You're secluded from all major traffic tucked into sugar mountain. There's nothing quite like waking up to fresh air while relaxing with a cup of coffee on the balcony. Such a perfect getaway spot for a couple or solo traveler. I only wish I had more time here!

This cozy condo was everything we had hoped for! It was in the perfect location. The fireplace and the back porch were awesome features I wasn't even expecting to have. It was quite affordable for how convenient it was. The host was very friendly and communication was great. I'd love to stay again! It was hard to leave.

Everything was absolutely amazing, we were literally 5 minutes away from everything. My fiancé and I came right after it had snowed but the roads were still safe and it made skiing 10 times better. The home itself was very accommodating and the fireplace was absolutely amazing. We will definitely keep this place in mind for the future!

We had a great time! We came to banner Elk to ski so the location next to sugar mountain was better than we could've hoped for! Right out of our front door. The treehouse was cozy and well maintained, we loved the fireplace and the view from the balcony. Perfect for a couple who wanted to get away for a few days, great time hope to be able to stay here again one day!

We had an amazing time at Ariel's place! It's location really is right at the base of Sugar, so wonderful for skiers. The fireplace kept us nice and toasty inside and the deck was a nice place to relax. Thanks Ariel!

great Unit with all necessary amenities. Close to all the local sights and towns. Winter sports available at the Sugar Mountain Resort on property. We had seven people and it was very comfortable for a long weekend.

We had a great time at this condo. It was perfect for 2 families. 8 people total. The kids loved their room with the bunk beds. The manager worked with us on early check in and late check out due to my husband getting injured on the slopes. It snowed the last night we were there. The view from the balcony was beautiful. The unit is some what dated but nothing you can't work around. We will be back. The location was perfect you are literally 2 mins from the ski slopes and close to a food lion and good restaurants. We had an adult night out and went to the Mexican restaurant Pueblo Nuevo and it was Delish! Best Mexican food we have ever had. We also rented all our ski rental from alpine ski rental. Way cheaper and easier than sugar mountain rentals. North Carolina is breath taking and beautiful!

We had a wonderful stay at Cecilia's place. It is well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Cecilia was very accommodating with flexibility in the check out time since there was no one checking in after our stay.

Basic accommodations but worth the money for the central location. No sink other than bathroom sink for washing dishes or filling coffee machine!!

Wendy was a great host who went above and beyond. The location was perfect and the space was bigger and nicer than we expected.

Nice touches, clean towels, fridge, water bottles, keurig coffee, silverware/small stove, bowls and plates, comfortable sheets and blankets, tv, cute porch all at a competitive price. Windy hilly location where you might need all wheel drive, especially if icy/snow conditions. Considering all of this, very competitively priced. Will stay here again.

Wendy was kind and informative and her home was so welcoming. My friends and I felt right at home and loved the proximity to the slopes. The area we stayed looked as expected and was a great place to unwind at night.

My son and I had a wonderful stay at Wendy's place on Sugar Mtn. The apartment was very spacious with a good view of the slopes. Wendy's great knowledge about the resort and the skiing conditions as a long time resident and former ski instructor are an added benefit of staying here.

Just a heads up for anyone staying here, use the actual map (even if you are using (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN)Maps) to find the place. The map is mapped really well but the voice directions given are very confusing.

You can take great picture of stars, you should bring tripod, too!

We had a wonderful stay at Kristin's condo! There were only 3 of us but it could very comfortably sleep at least 8 people. Kristin made the whole process very easy from the beginning by providing a welcome letter prior to check in detailing instructions and area recommendations. I definitely recommend this condo for anyone travelling to the area!

This townhouse is a nice and cozy house. We have enough beds for two big family . We two family both feel it's worthy as price.

Great place to stay for large or multiple families. Walking distance to Sugar Mountain Village and the ski slope is very convenient. You can rent your equipment and buy your lift ticket the night before, and walk to the slope the next morning! Condo is very comfortable, clean, and had all the amenities we needed during our stay. Heat, TV, wifi, kitchen appliances, etc. were all very easy to use.

Sue's place is a quiet rustic retreat. Sue was very responsive and helpful. My daughter and I absolutely loved the area and did not want to leave, absolutely peaceful and gorgeous!

The apartment was super clean and very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the location was also very easy to find. We had fun cooking as it was fully equipped kitchen and nice and comfortable beds to wind down.

We had a lovely stay at Hemlock Nob! It was a beautiful staying in the mountains. I really appreciated that the place was nice and warm with a fire place. It was also fully stocked with kitchen utensils and appliances! If we get the chance we'd love to stay again!!

Sue's apartment has a great location and it was very easy to find the apartment. It is a very short drive from the Sugar Mountain Ski lift, and it is in a very quiet section of the mountain. The pictures are the exact description of the apartment, however it is more appropriate for 3 people instead of 4. It has one bed for 2, a sofa for one adult and a side sofa for a child. You will need to bring soap, shampoo etc. And your own towels. There is a grocery store very close for those that need to do groceries, as well as an equipment rental place and a couple of restaurants. When we were there the door to the balcony couldn't be opened, which was not an inconvenience for us because we didn't spend much time in the apartment, but if you're looking to enjoy the balcony I would double check it works first. Sue is very responsive and our check in was perfect.

Sue responded quickly and everything is as described. The place is clean (although it does has a odor that's probably because the place is not new) and the neighborhood is quite nice. Our only problem was that when taking a shower, hot water was depleted very quickly. The second person would already feel cold. Overall, this place is well worth its price!

My family and I had an amazing time. the warmth of the condo was refreshing after a long day of work at Grandfather Mountain convening for our Scotish Clan. I will defiantly be back again. Sue was great at communicating the information about checking in and out. I deffinately recommend this condo.

The place was perfect for quick and easy access to Sugar Mountain and ski rentals, and it's a quick 15 min drive to Beech. We had 6 people and everybody was very comfortable and well accommodated. Morgan always responded quickly and was super helpful with advice. I'd highly recommend this spot and hope to stay here again!

Had an awesome stay. The house is nice and back out of town enough to not hear any noises but close enough that you could ride up to the store and be back in 5 minutes if you want. Close to Boone and a ton of hiking opportunities, especially Grandfather Mountain. Morgan was great. She made sure that we had what we needed and was very open to suggestions and how to make the stay better. All in all, it was a fantastic trip with a fantastic place to spend the evenings

This is was very nice and cozy place for my family. We stayed through the weekend and loved every minute. We enjoyed that we didn't need to drive to the slopes, just called a number and the bus picked us up a five minute walk away. It snowed a lot and if we didn't have AWD we wouldn't have made it in or out of the neighborhood. Very comfortable beds and they had all the towels we needed. Also had games we played that they kept in the closet. They have a tv but we didn't even use it. WiFi was pretty good and I used it to work on homework. We definitely plan on staying here again!

Excellent hosts and excellent condo! I've been coming to Sugar for 15 years and this condo is the best. Spacious, private, clean, cozy, and the best view in town. The hosts were excellent- polite, accommodating, and responsive. This was one of our best airbnb experiences to date- You WILL enjoy your stay!
