Enjoy a secluded country holiday in this one-of-a-kind eco tiny house. There are great indoor and outdoor spaces for you to enjoy whatever the weather. Relax in bed with stunning views of the valley, or head out to enjoy South Gippsland. We're in easy striking distance of Wilson's Prom, Fish Creek and many other local attractions. The space is solar powered and has a separate bathroom and compost toilet. Located on a farm 15min walk from Foster, so it's easy to grab a coffee or buy food.
  • Dom's place it a great little country escape. If you need to remove yourself from it all Dom's place will help you with this. It has all the little extras that you'd need to enjoy your time there. Couple this with that fact it's a tiny house, the fun factor is well and truly there. Communication was great, description was accurate and location is brilliant. I would recommend Dom's place to friends and family.

  • The beautiful tiny house was the perfect weekend getaway for us. It exceeded our expectations. The place had a nice overlooking view of the valleys and sunset. We were really impressed as to how the place was built and all the essential things were provided. It is a nice experience for relaxation and to just enjoy nature. It is also well-secured and very clean, there was nothing bad to say, as we really have a splendid time. It is a highly recommended place for anyone planning to spend time in Wilson’s Prom or just going to the country side. We would advise to at least stay there for 3 days to enjoy the experience. Moreover, the locales were very sincere and accomodating. Dom and Chris gave us fast responses and our needs were well-attended.

Nestled on 5 acres of temperate rain forest is this fully self-contained, cosy bungalow suitable for a couple looking for a romantic retreat or someone flying solo who wants to escape the rat race. It is ‘off the grid’ yet enjoys all the mod cons including Netflix, Spotify, heating and cooling. It features an array of wildlife including resident parrots of all persuasions, a goanna, wombats, wallabies, kangaroos and lyrebirds. The bungalow is a discreet distance from Anne and Wayne’s home.
The bungalow is conveniently located only 20 minutes’ drive from Agnes Falls, Tarra Bulga National Park, the historic towns of Port Albert, Yarram and a variety of stunning beaches. Wilson's Prom is a great place to go for a day trip. The property is owned by Anne and Wayne Tindall. Your host Anne used to own the Bull Bar and Gallery in Yarram and highly recommends the new owners. Great food, live music and local wines and beers every Thursday, Friday and Saturday 4pm till late. Wayne is a practising artist and can be found in his studio on the property, most days.
There are no neighbours apart from a farmer across the road who lives (hidden) up a very long driveway. The occasional vehicle passes down the road from time to time. It is extremely quiet.
  • We loved our stay at this little gem. Was a perfect spot for a relaxing getaway and close enough for a nice drive to Wilson’s Prom. Anne and Wayne were great host, they were very accommodating and welcoming.

    Natasha2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • We were in deep need of a weekend away from the city - Anne’s place offered everything we needed and more. The place was clean, had all amenities needed and felt very private. It was wonderful driving through the towns in the area and visiting Tarra-Bulga national park. Would highly recommend! Thanks so much!!

  • Perfect place to get away from hustle and bustle. Beautiful nature setting in Eucalyptus and gum tree forest with plenty of birds around and attentive hosts. Good base to visit Tarra Bulga Rainforest, Wilson's Prom, Lakes Entrance etc. Little walks also accessible on foot from the hut. Thanks for having us!

  • A fantastic little cabin in a very secluded and beautiful part of the world. Anne's communication was excellent and she welcomed us with a few complimentary items on arrival. Remote and quiet space; and the parrots were particularly special. Would stay again.

    Jordan2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • This is a lovely, peaceful space. Anne was very welcoming and we had everything we needed for cooking. We just wished it was a bit closer to Wilson’s Prom (1.5hr drive) as that is the main reason we went but we did get to see some other places such as 90 mile beach and Agnes Falls.

    Megan2019-12-29T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely place with a beautiful view and can find a lot of birds 😍

    Manne2019-12-24T00:00:00Z
  • Great place for our getaway. We brought our dog who loved the open space. We went for a walk around their property which had amazing spots all over it! Anne and Wayne’s tourist suggestions were awesome as well! Highly recommend Agnes Falls and Woodside beach and Welshpool jetty all only short drives away! Anne and Wayne themselves are beautiful people with an awesome bar that is worth checking out in Yarram.

  • Marilyn, his partner and the dog were super nice. When we arrived from our excursion to the falls we had a lovely chat with them. Very respectful, helpfull and easy to talk to. The house was really big, with a beautiful bedroom with views and a very big bathroom. Marilyn showed us everything we needed and how to use the kitchen. The outside is gorgeous, in the middle of the mountain with plants and animals. We loved our stay there :) If we ever come back we will be repiting for sure! Thankyou 😊

Roger and Marilyn are the best hosts you can have and they are happy to explain things around he house, farm and also suggest some hidden gems around the place. My family and pooch had a great time in webah and I highly recommend spending some time there around nature and stunning night sky. It was also sparkling clean. The view was wonderful, so we had a hard time to actually leave the apartment for our daily trips. While it’s a perfect place as a quite retreat, it was quite easy to get to. We will definitely return!

  • Joanne’s house was a lovely restful base for our Wilson’s Prom adventure weekend!! Plentiful breakfast, comfy beds, warm fireplace, a friendly pup, and excellent local tips. Would recommend.

  • Awesome stay in spectacular location. It is about 45 minutes to Tidal River parking at Prom I loved the view on Wilson’s Prom. from the living room. From my room I had a wonderful view to the green hills with all black and white cows. I had my private bathroom and toilet. Joanne provides everything I myself couldn’t have thought of, like shampoo & conditioner, bathing salt, hairdryer, etc and all top quality from small manufacturers and organic. Breakfast was amazing. Lots of fresh fruit, homemade granola, local produce jams, organic yoghurt, wonderful bread from local bakery. Even I who likes a nice quality breakfast as start of the day was super happy 😊. The day I arrived there was nobody and I struggled a bit what to do, where to go, but I am an experienced traveler, so made the best out of it 😬. Later Joanne invited me to share dinner with her and Noel. I also got some nice wine which was great. I would love to come back and stay for at least 2 weeks.

Port Albert (Historic Fishing Village) Lovely Cafes in Foster and Yarram Great Fishing and Swimming Wildlife galore Lovely Walkways and Tramping options Historic Museums NOTE: All you will need is your own Linen, towels and toiletries etc and due to the budget rates in a lovely holiday home you are asked to PLEASE CLEAN ON DEPARTURE for the next "relaxees" we know those that book will... as we trust people appreciate the price we offer to make it affordable for all to stay..THANKS HEAPS :) PETS: Also please note we do not allow pets after three VERY bad experiences. We used to welcome the family pet as we have animals ourselves, but many dollars later with repairs we have had to make due to irresponsible people we have now changed our policy - apologies to all the responsible pet owners out there. WELCOME TO PORT WELSHPOOL -VICTORIAS SECRET A LITTLE SLICE OF HEAVEN The Port and surrounds Port Welshpool is a lovely drive of about 90 minutes from Cranbourne once you hit the Sth Gippsland Highway and is in an undiscovered "peaceful paradise" just a short drive from beautiful and unspoilt Wilsons Prom. We own our lovely "home away from home" (well the bank does) and instead of tenanting it we decided to share our little paradise with likeminded people who will enjoy this lovely area as much as we do. "The Port" is a very historic part of Victoria and has an all weather/ all tide boat ramp (1 minute drive from the house) with great fishing from the jetty or the wharf and also very safe swimming and paddling from the lovely sandy beach. The Port is also the entrance to the Prom either by boat or by a short drive so you can explore at will or just relax and there are also MANY other beautiful attractions in the area. There is a great General Store which has all your needs or supermarkets 20 minutes away in Foster or Yarram. Fishing is hugely popular in the area. Wilsons Promontory National Park and the islands of Corner Inlet can be reached by launch or sailboat from the port. There is a launching ramp and boats can be hired locally. Hog deer, an endangered species in their native Asia, have been introduced into a State game reserve on Snake Island, in order to bolster their numbers. The Port Welshpool Museum, open daily, features marine displays and an unusual assortment of maritime curios. The house, built in 1881, was one of the first substantial dwellings to be constructed at Port Welshpool. The builder, J. Avery, had to walk 21 miles from Port Albert every Monday, and returned by foot each weekend. It is thought to be one of the oldest buildings in the shire of South Gippsland. On the lawn is the fishing boat, the Janet Isles, which was used by the house's owners, the Smith family, for several generations. Barry Beach, a few kilometers west, is a supply base for the oil rigs of Bass Strait. Steel platforms are constructed here and towed into the strait, where piles are driven through the hollow legs and a deck is welded on. An observation area, overlooking the terminal, has been organised. The area was reputedly named after jack-of-all-trades, John Baragwanath, who owned land at the mouth of the Agnes River. Skilled at ironwork, photography, and surveying, he manufactured his own camera and telescope and assisted the locals in the guises of an informal doctor, a legal counselor, and a bush dentist - always carrying a set of forceps with which to yank out troublesome teeth. Harold Lasseter - the man who made and prompted numerous expeditions to central Australia by claiming that a mother lode of gold, known as Lasseter's Reef, was there to be mined - lived in the area for his last thirty years. He died returning from one of his own trips in about 1931 The township of Welshpool, a few kilometers to the north, relies upon the dairy and wool industries. 9 km north-west of Welshpool you can visit one of the highest waterfalls in Victoria at the Agnes Falls Reserve, where the river plunges 60 m over the gorge. The damming of the river above the falls ensures the water supply Welshpool and other local towns. Walking tracks, picnic and barbecue facilities are available. To get there, head west along the highway and turn off at Slades Hill Road, near the school. The route is signposted. Return via Toora for maximum scenic value. • Kerry Jo and Ezra’s place was absolutely lovely. In terms of location: We wanted somewhere to stay whilst doing day trips around the area (eg to Wilson’s Prom - could not recommend highly enough, this national park was one of the most beautiful places we had ever been) and the Airbnb was approx a 1 hr drive away from the park’s entrance, and only a couple of hours from Melbourne. Welshpool itself was lovely - I would recommend walking out along the historic long jetty for a peaceful view of the sea! Our hire car actually broke down in the town and the local shop owners and mechanic were so friendly and helpful. In terms of the property: The exterior of the property was lovely - I don’t think the pictures do it justice. There was a little verandah with decking and a bench for sitting out on. The rooms were all functional and nice! The kitchen was very well stocked in terms of appliances, but also basic cooking necessities eg. oil, salt, pepper. The bathroom also had some shampoo and body wash which was a nice touch. The living space was nice enough, with a TV (with lots of channels), DVD’s and speakers! In terms of the hosts: All of our communication with Kerry Jo and Ezra was great - they replied very promptly and were so helpful and lovely to interact with. They also managed to accommodate us around some plumbing work they were having in the house (at short notice) which was amazing. We would very highly recommend this stay!

There are two bedrooms, two living areas, a private alfresco area, native garden, a covered deck with great rural views, a luxurious bathroom, a modern, spacious kitchen stocked with all those little things you might need, and much more. • Very very good Airbnb. Great space to be in, really good aesthetic, comfortable, quiet and private. The beds and linen are amazing. Foster is a great little town and Grant’s place is close to everything. We were riding gravel bikes and the locale is perfect for that. Surrounding towns/villages lovely as well. We want to come back.

  • A cute place to start within walking distance of Foster Main Street.

    Eva2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • This accommodation was very comfortable with nice touches eg. (fresh flowers, chocolate bar). Very pretty house with covered in front patio for relaxing or a cuppa. Lots of birds everywhere and an occasional rabbit! My dog was very interested! Also a good stay for our dog as we were able to lock her in an enclosed side patio while we explored Wilson's Promontory for a few hours. No dogs allowed in National parks. All in all a very enjoyable three day break.

    Maureen2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • The place was exactly like the photo. A cozy home with lovely amenities and touches. A short drive from Wilson's prom and other landmarks. Love the fact that there were two bicycles for us to use to get around town. Would definitely come back.

Great location to stay if going to the Prom, nice things to do locally (with some tips from our hosts), very clean, beautiful view from the little balcony and Grant was always very quick to respond. Will definitely stay if I come to the Prom or the area again.

  • We loved staying at Bridget’s house in such a convenient location to Wilson’s Prom. We enjoyed our family morning walks into Foster for great coffee and our dog loved her walks through the reserves. The house is well equipped with everything you need.

  • My sister and I really loved staying at Bridget's accomodation. I was quite surprised at the selection of home cleaning products Bridget provided. She uses the same ones we use at home. They are all environmentally friendly and produced with natural ingredients. Kelly and I have a history with eczema. Our skin thanks you! x The home is located in the central of Foster. Surrounded by nature. Very walkable distance to the shops. It's a very big town with a large array of cafes, op-shops, Foodworks & IGA. Photos of the home definitely does not do justice! The ceramics to the timber bench tops and linen, gives you an idea that Bridget has great taste and is a very thoughtful person. Love it all. Worth staying here and visiting the mini towns surrounding the area if you're not visiting Wilson's Prom. Thank you once again, Leena x

  • My husband and I had a weekend getaway to support Gippsland communities post the fires. Bridget's house was such a lovely and peaceful location with a bush land outlook, walking distance to town and Maxes Restaurant (another new fav). We loved staying here and in Foster. Bridget added quite a bit of special touches such as milk in the fridge, lovely teas and body products. Her decor and artwork was also lovely. We would certainly stay here again.

  • Bridget's house exudes an understated, rustic country charm, that for us, felt homely and inviting while at the same time providing modern touches such as a beautiful kitchen and bathroom, all-the-while feeling immersed in lush vegetation... Although rainy when we stayed, the fire place and heater sure made for a cosy atmosphere - and the bed is excellent! Delighted to have stayed at Bridget's beautiful home.

  • Susannah’s place is the perfect place to stay when visiting Port Welshpool. Situated in a quiet street we found the house very clean and comfortable. There was everything that we needed for our stay. The local pub does a great meal and is in easy walking distance. The only suggestion I have is there are no basic items included such as tea / coffee, salt /pepper, or shampoo etc so you will need to bring everything you need. We got caught out with this when we had nothing for a hot drink. Otherwise the place was perfect and we would definitely stay again.

    Kylie2020-01-24T00:00:00Z
  • We were hoping for a great stay at Susannah's place - it looked perfect on paper - and we weren't disappointed! Such a pity we were only there for four days. We would have happily stayed much longer. Great sociable space and garden. Loads of kitchen utensils, a kayak and a bike! Perfectly located for the beach, Agnes Falls and a manageable drive to Wilsons Prom (which we loved). Definitely to be recommended. Thanks Susannah.

  • What an excellent place to stay! Ideal location just outside of the National Park, and a lovely view over the bay. A quick drive to a local coffee and pizza place and the general store. My family home is amidst the beautiful countryside of Foster. It's a short drive to beaches and only 30km from the entrance to Wilson's Promontory National Park. We provide comfort in an accredited sustainable home with contemporary architecture on land used to grow seasonal produce. Choose from two spacious queen rooms, with bathroom and laundry on the lower floor of the house (privately accessible.) My welcoming parents, Kathy and Greg, will have all the local info you need for a great stay.
House is only 5 years old and the downstairs self contained apartment style area has 2 queen bedrooms. The space is bright, clean and spacious with views over garden to treed creek area. Private bathroom with separate bath and shower. Spacious laundry and kitchenette. Large living room with couches, coffee table and library.
Our property is only 10 kms from Foster and about 15 mins to Wilsons Prom National Park. There are great views across Corner inlet and behind us is the Hoddle range and Mount Nicoll. The hectare property is a work in progress as a food forest.
  • If you’re looking for a quite getaway then this property is perfect. About an hours drive away from the Wilsons Prom national park. Not too far from the local market too. A value for your money and a very big thank you to the amazing hosts! :)

    Akash2020-03-19T00:00:00Z
  • Great location for accessing The Prom and surrounding areas. Beds were lovely & very comfortable, very nice bathroom. The juice, fruit & breakfast is a lovely touch. Greg was a terrific host.

  • Clare's place was a tranquil stay for us. Greg was also an informative and great host. Would definitely stay there again!

    Jason2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • A lovely property with ideal access into Wilson’s prom. The place is kept in perfect condition and comes with some essential items to kick start the day. There is also lots of info on the park which was great to use as a reference. Foster is also only a short drive away, with some nice restaurants on offer.

    Matt2020-02-27T00:00:00Z
  • Greg and his wife were very warm and friendly hosts! Everything about Clare's place is exactly as listed, with some much appreciated extras like maps of the local area especially Wilsons Prom, breakfasts, and toiletries. The place was huge and would have been super spacious even for a party of 4-6 (there were only 2 of us). Shops and sights are in very short driving distance, and the house is situated on a property with lovely flora & fauna (loved waking up to the sound of crickets & birds!). Even in rainy weather, the area is beautiful and the dryer saved us from having to trek in wet clothes the next day. What really did catch my fancy was their library of books, which held a very vast spread of all topics and would be especially appreciated by those interested in psychology, social services, etc.! Would definitely pick Clare's place again when we return to Wilsons Prom!

Also only 15 minutes from one of the best national parks in Australia (the world!?) with lots of animal sighting opportunities. I wish we lived closer so we could come back more often!

The local town Foster was only a 5 min drive away, so we were away to grab some supplies and food for our days out at the Prom. A relaxing holiday house, walking distance to inlet beach, hotel, general store, all tides boat ramp and fisherman's wharf. Has all amenities needed to have a comfortable get away. Great location for day trips to Wilson's Prom, Anges Falls or just relax. An ideal home for families on fishing, cycling or hiking trips.
  • The location is easy to find, well equipped, well maintained and everything worked as expected. Great place to stay for a family retreat if you don't mind driving a fair distance to the Wilsons Promontory if that's your key destination. Nevertheless, the surrounding area is beautiful and is easy to enjoy on its own.

  • We had the most relaxing nights stay here listening to all of the wildlife! Gorgeously little tent that was so cosy and comfortable. The little kitchen is so well stocked, and the shower was easy to use. The tent is the only one on the land, so it is so private (other than the little family of kangaroos who had their breakfast just outside the tent while we sat on the swing :) ) and peaceful. Couldn’t recommend it enough!

    Beth2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely little spot that sits amidst the forest. Nice for stargazing during warm nights and sitting in the tent during cold nights, listening to the rain and being warm in a beautiful wooden comfy bed. Renata was very very kind to us, we were provided with all that we needed and even when we forgot to buy breakfast, we checked the kitchen and there was milk and cereal included! The place was very clean and no bugs made it into our tent. We saw a few kangaroos during the day and could hear birds singing early in the morning. Pure Bliss. Highly recommend staying here for a quiet getaway from all of life's busy noise.

Welcome to our home, family-kids-pet friendly. Situated just 250 meters from the beach. Open plan living area with 3 bedrooms. Back deck with seating & large lockable yard. Big shed to store boat & has a pool table & play equipment in there. Toys & books for kids, an indoor room for pets. Big TV with netflix & wifi. Quiet street, also close to the local pub/takeaway shop/jetties/boat ramp/playground. Linen is supplied, 1 towel pp. Being coastal we get sandflies/insects certain times day/night.
Pets are welcome and have their own room to sleep, It’s off the laundry & has a lockable flyscreen door (which can be accessed from the back deck). There is a waterproof bed (please bring own blanket to go over the top), food/drink bowls, pooper scooper and bags. Insects/sandflies are about different times of night/day as we live in a coastal area. All animals need to be flea treated & toilet trained - no vicious animals. The shed is massive, great for boats and is lockable. It has all the kids toys & equipment in there along with the pool table. We welcome children, and have safety locks on cupboards & can provide safety gates. Please be aware that the hot water service isn’t a huge, so just take that into account so you don’t run out of hot water. Also only cold water washing in the washing machine. Bring own bedding for use of the sofa bed.
Port welshpool is a great little spot, our street is quiet and so close to everything. The long jetty is great for fishing and walks, the kids will love the playground and jetties and beach! The local takeaway shop does amazing fish and chips.
  • Spacious and clean. Plenty of room in the common areas for 4-6 people. Basic kitchen amenities provided. Good base for exploring the local area and Wilson's Prom.

  • Meagan's house was exactly what we need after a days riding of the Great Southern Rail Trail. The house was clean and confortable and allowed us to refresh for the return ride.

    John2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Great place next to pier and a homely place

    Rob2020-02-06T00:00:00Z
  • Although the house is a bit old, it is clean, the kettle and toaster are new, and the pot is new. It would be perfect if there was a coffee machine

    Catherine2020-02-06T00:00:00Z
  • Meagan's place is a tidy, clean and well appointed house with everything you could need. It's located close to the pub, corner store and beach. We plan on coming back here again with our puppy, as although we didn't bring him this time the house was well set up to cater for pets, even providing information on how to make the most out of the local area with your furry friend.

    Elise2020-02-04T00:00:00Z
  • Clean and comfortable house

    Gary2020-01-28T00:00:00Z

“Olivi” is a stylish 1-bedroom retreat perfect for a midweek getaway or a weekend escape. Ideal for couples looking to relax, unwind and explore Wilson’s Promontory just a 5 minute drive from our front door. Enjoy a deliciously cooked breakfast. Dinner is available on request. Fantastic views of Corner Inlet with beautiful winter sun rises. Walk amongst the Olive trees , organic vegetable garden and interaction with our farm animals.
  • We had a lovely stay at Olivi and were blown away by Karen and Marty's hospitality. Our beautifully decorated sea-view room had a private entrance and ensuite and was equipped beyond our expectations. From the bed, we had a fantastic view of the moon and sunrise reflecting on the sea. If you have the chance, definitely opt to dine in! Karen and Marty prepare nearly everything from scratch and feature a lot of produce from their garden. Highlights included Marty's home brew (among the best we've tasted!), olives from the garden, and Karen's homemade ice-cream and passionfruit soufflé (again from the garden!). The fluffy omelette, homemade sourdough, and fresh coffee we had for breakfast were perfect before a day of exploring the Prom (only 5 minutes drive away). We also loved touring the grounds and feeding the animals with Marty. If you're heading down to the Prom, stay at Olivi - you won't regret it! We can't wait to head back once the seasons change.

    Amy2020-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • Karen’s bed and breakfast is spectacular. The room is very stylishly decorated and feels private even though it is attached to the main house, and the setting is really beautiful. It is Karen and Marty’s hospitality that really made the experience though. If you have the option to eat dinner there I would definitely recommend it, Karen prepared nearly everything from scratch and her cooking is amazing! We loved our stay here.

    Michael2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing bed and breakfast with amazing hosts, I 100% recommend this place !

    Anne Laure2020-01-29T00:00:00Z
  • Karen and Marty were fantastic hosts - everything we could have wanted after our hike through Wilsons Prom. The room we stayed in is separate from the main house, so we had plenty of privacy combined with all of the important comforts. We opted to share dinner and dessert with Karen and Marty and thoroughly enjoyed it - as well as the wine and home brew! Breakfast was delicious. We both thought it was one of the best omelettes we've had. Karen also bakes her own sourdough so you're definitely in for a treat. To top it all off Marty spent the morning showing us around the farm! If you're considering staying at Karen's - book it in. You won't be disappointed.

    Adam2020-01-12T00:00:00Z
  • Very welcoming hosts with lots experiences to share; delicious gourmet food and delightful and relaxing environment to stay whilst exploring the Wilsons Promontory and surrounds.

    Peter2019-12-29T00:00:00Z
  • Not only was this the best location (short drive from the prom!) and a super cool and comfortable stay, but Karen and Marty’s hospitality and local knowledge were top notch!!! We loved the gorgeous home-made breakfast and being taken around their lovely farm to feed the sheep and alpacas. We can’t wait to come back next time we venture down to Wilson’s Prom! Thank you for a lovely stay🌟

    Lauren2019-11-04T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely stay at Karen’s place. We really enjoyed their hospitality and the beautiful location.

    Ken2019-09-10T00:00:00Z
  • Olivi was the perfect place to getaway. Karen and her husband are such warm, hospitable, genuine hosts, and the accommodation was sparkling clean with breathtaking water views. I would thoroughly recommend a stay at Olivi.

The Panorama Suite enjoys magnificent 180° views across Corner Inlet to Wilsons Promontory National Park and Waratah Bay. Separate from the main house, it provides deluxe ensuite accommodation, including settee (sleep sofa), dining table, bar fridge, microwave, and tea & coffee making facilities. We also have two other rooms available - our cosy Twin room and the super comfortable Queen room, so can accommodate up to six guests. Check them out on Airbnb.
The Panorama Suite is furnished with a super comfortable bed, down pillows, top quality natural fibre linens and towels, washed in locally made pure soap and dried in the South Gippsland sun. It has sliding doors to the main deck, where you can kick back, relax and enjoy the passing parade of parrots of all colours. Bring your bathers and luxuriate in the spa, or stay warm in front of the gorgeous cast iron chiminea. But if the wind is blowing on one side of the house, you're bound to find a protected haven on the other. The en-suite bathroom provides underfloor heating and heat lamps for those chilly mornings, and quality soaps, lotions and potions for every need.
Astonishing views, magnificent beaches, fabulous walks and abundant wildlife are what drew us here. But what's kept us here is the warmth and diversity of the people who live here. We have such a rich visual and performing arts community that we are more active here than we were when we lived in the city. The unspoilt beauty of the district is full of natural wonder, with wildlife, empty windswept beaches, rainforests and waterfalls. For visitors looking for action, there’s surfing, windsurfing, kayaking, snorkelling, diving, swimming, fishing, golfing and more. Foster itself is a bustling country town which is a service centre for outlying communities. We have two supermarkets, two bakeries, several cafe's, clothing shops, beauty salons, book shop, library, gallery, hardware store and pub. We also have a fantastic children's playground, swimming pool, medical centre and hospital.
  • This place is a real gem. Linda and Larry are wonderful hosts. Great attention to detail. Very helpful with local tips. Good location. Nice views. Close to Wilsons Prom. Thx for a very enjoyable stay!

    Robert2018-11-05T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay at llarinda, in the Panaromic suite. The views from the suite are lovely, with many types of birds constantly flying by. Linda and Larry were great from start to finish, they were so informative with messaging me beforehand, giving me tips on walking trails and where to find wildlife. The continental breakfasast was so good! made from home grown and home made foods. The home also includes a hot tub which looks out onto the Prom, but was great at night, where we could look at the stars. Thanks so much, would love to stay again.

    Ellie2018-05-10T00:00:00Z
  • We had the most amazing stay at Larrinda. The room had absolutely everything we needed and more! The view is breathtaking. We enjoyed soaking up the sun in the spa and taking in the view. Breakfast was delicious! Larry and Linda made us feel at home, even taking us to see a movie at the local hall. This trip will be one we will never forget, we will be recommending Larrinda to our friends and family. So very special! Thank you.

    Hannah2017-10-07T00:00:00Z
  • Only one night stay at Linda and Larry's is not enough! (Delicious homemade breakfast, relaxing animals around also amazing view day and night.) Both Linda and Larry are very kind to share their knowledge about wildlife and give us lots of information to explore Wilsons Prom. This is our first stay at air b&b in Australia and the highlight of the trip for sure. Thank you for everything:)

    Chuck2017-09-18T00:00:00Z
  • Had a great experience at Linda and Larry's place. Beautiful views of hills and ocean, birdlife and some very relaxed sheep. Really cozy and comfortable room, amazing breakfasts provided by Linda and a short drive to The Prom. Linda and Larry were exceptionally friendly and thoughtful hosts. Thanks for having us!

    Ben2017-07-23T00:00:00Z
  • We were extremely well received by Linda and her husband. The service is exceptionally professional and they are very warm. We enjoyed the jacuzzi in this garden paradise. The room has everything you need. It is large, well appointed, quiet with amazing views. The breakfast was perfect. We enjoyed the local and extremely fresh (organic orange juice, yogurt, cereals, muesli muesli, fruit salad, croissants, toast, homemade jams, short delicious!). We highly recommend this beautiful home!

    Tifany & Deniz2017-03-25T00:00:00Z
  • Linda and Larry provide you the most wonderful stay you would have imagined. The room has a lovely view. Who would not want to wake up with a view over the mountains in the morning. The place is lovely decorated, spacious, well-equipped. Not to mention Linda makes the most awesome breakfast I've had throughout my whole stay in Australia. They also provided us with all the recommendations we needed for a lovely hike in the Prom as well as a cracking pizza place on the night of our arrival. I would love to stay here again anytime!

  • Wonderful place! Very clean, Who could ever tire of THAT view?! & so much to explore in the fantastic Wilsons Prom National Park on the ‘doorstep’

    Sally2020-03-19T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful, wholesome accommodation set on a stunning property. We stayed for two nights as we had a wedding in Yanakie. If we are to come to South Gippsland again to do more exploring, I woudl have no hesitation in booking. The house is clean, all amenities you would need (coffee machine, toaster, pots & pans etc) & all bedding and towels provided.

    Lauren2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay was fabulous! This home was absolutely perfect for our needs with all amenities - even beach towels! The location for us was perfect as our holiday was to spend time to explore Wilsons Promontory. We will definitely book this place again for our next visit in the area!

    Bernadette2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • Everything about our experience was perfect! The house is so lovely, there was plenty of room for 6 adults to stay there comfortably. It's in the perfect position, really close to the National Park and there are spectacular views from the house also. Michelle was so helpful and very easy to communicate with. We were very grateful to all the information about the house and the surrounding areas, that were given to us. We are already planning our next visit.

    Steevie2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • The accommodation and it’s location are both stunning. Relaxing, silent, quality, comfortable, accessible are just a few words that spring to mind. Plus the stars at night!!! No light pollution so the stars and galaxies come alive. For me it was a perfect retreat. The views over the bay from the porch whilst drinking some wine and watching the kids offer the horses some carrots.. an hour of bliss. As you can tell, I really rate this place. It’s also only 10mins to the Prom and 30mins to Tidal River.

    Adrian2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • Very comfortable beds, extremely clean and spacious house, lovely wrap around veranda so you can find a bit of shade or sun all day. Extremely well equipped kitchen with many thoughtful touches i.e. supplies, coffee machine, plenty of pans etc. Lovely slow burner fire place too, although too warm to use on our visit. Could have stayed longer. Would highly recommend.

    Dianne2020-02-23T00:00:00Z

Lockie’s Lookout sits on a 300m high hill, 2.5 kilometres as the eagle flies from Corner inlet with a landmark cypress tree and an unforgettable 360° panorama views across Corner Inlet, Wilsons Promontory, Bass Strait, the Strzelecki Ranges and lush grazing country. Privacy and comfort is a top priority. If this property is booked go to Wilsons Prom- One Tree Hill- Eagles Nest both and or 360 with similar outlooks
Its a brand new modular house with a very long floor to ceiling glass frontage of 24m to take in the exceptional views. There is a separate bath in the ensuite, a fully equipped modern kitchen, wood heater, air conditioner. the bed rooms are carpeted. The rumpus room has a Queen bed that can be made private. There is a fenced in protected court yard with a BBQ for those lazy days at home.
From Lockie's lookout you can see kangaroos in the bottom paddock near the trees at dusk and dawn, the very large wedge tail eagles swoop and glide out side your window. the Gang Gang's and the rosellas and Gala's are everywhere. Be careful to not hit the Wombats, bunnys and bush kangaroos on the way up the hill from Toora. Enjoy the majestic wind farm. Toora or Welshpool are the nearest towns each 10 km away. Toora has a good IGA and a good coffee shop on the highway, a hotel, Chinese and pizza shops. Foster is the big smoke for the area. You can walk to Agnes Falls and have a picnic in the park that surrounds this spectacular water fall. You can ride the rail trail 50km to Leongatha via Toora, Foster, Fish Creek and Meeniyan or the other way to Yarram via Welshpool, Headly, Port Albert and Alberton (The Victoria Hotel is a must to see a true country pub with huge cheap meals). Port Albert fish and chips on the jetty are a must. The Welshpool hotel has a courtesy bus. Tara Bulga rain forests, waterfalls, swing bridge and streams are a must as are the tea rooms with local birds. Visit the beach and long Jetty currently being renovated at Port Welshpool. Its about 40 mins to Prom gates and Waratah surf Beach both of which should be visited. Restaurants at Port Albert and Meeniyan are special as are the hotels at Toora, Welshpool, Port Welshpool, Port Albert and Fish Creek. There are a number of Wineries between here and Leongatha all worth a visit.
  • A beautiful spot for a weekend away. The view is amazing. We had a wonderful time and John was very welcoming of our two dogs who loved running in the grass and seeing the cows. There isn’t wifi and limited tv channels but the fire and view make up for this. Some of the finishings in the villa could be better but for a short stay it is fine.

We also have a small selection of dvds and cds in the cottage, there is a ceiling fan and a portable fan for the hot days, and we will supply plenty of wood for the wood heater when needed. Your bathroom is newly renovated, and the sleeping area has a comfortable queen size bed.
Tindoona Cottages is located just 4km south of the township of Foster, with convenient access to all the region has to offer. Wilsons Prom National Park is a short 20 min drive away, as are the pristine beaches of Waratah Bay and Sandy Point. Corner Inlet is renowned for fishing as are the nearby beaches, and Agnes Falls, Victoria's highest single span waterfall is a 15 minute drive away. Along with Foster itself the nearby towns of Fish Creek and Meeniyan offer plenty of cafes, restaurants and galleries etc to visit.

  • We absolutely loved staying at Rita’s Yanakie house. Situated in a big block of land, it was peaceful yet close to WP, Fish Creek and Foster. It was great getting away from all the chaos and hype of the city, amidst the coronavirus pandemic. The house had everything we needed. We utilized mostly the oven and the outdoor BBQ. Loved the apple trees outside also. We especially loved exploring the beach at the end of Shellcott Road. Wonderful place to just walk along, or have a picnic on a nice day. We were lucky to see lots of black swans. We will definitely come back to Wilsons Prom and hoping to stay at Rita’s place again.
