Best place you can stay at Banaue.. Nice, clean, with hot shower, great view and good restaurant. Louie is really nice and helpfull... And defenetly take her brother-in-law David as guide for Batad. He really helped us enjoy the place and have a lot of inside knowledge.. Thx a lot and see you both in future! :)

We had a great time staying at 7th Heaven's, the view is scenic, rooms are cozy and comfy but need to note that the walls are made of ply wood so some noise from other rooms are unavoidable but tolerable. Clean private bathrooms with are definitely a win for us and we will definitely stay here again and next time longer!

We were having problems getting a place in Banawe during Christmas because most places were fully-booked. Louie was very nice to reserve us another room eventhough I only booked one. We ended up actually using the originally-booked room. The place was quite new and clean which was great. There was hot water and the staff were flexible with our request for early check-out at 5am. They cooked our breakfast pack the night before. We spent our Christmas eve there so it was quite memorable for us. The only cons was the food taste can be improved. Maybe we just had a higher expectation on food taste since my brothers are good cooks. But overall, the place was really great!

The guest house Louie is on the top of the village center (easy walking distance). The village is very noisy polluted because of the jeepney, so we could enjoy the peace of this place. The small balcony offers a breathtaking view of the rices terraces, we have more adores ... The little dej is plentiful and we ate pretty well, even at night. The rooms and bathrooms are clean. The flow of water from the bathroom and the WIFI are not optimum, but we have seen that it is a little everywhere in the Philippines ... A little regret, we have not tried the 3 days trek that many travelers are via the 7th heaven's coffee ... the pace does not seem too supported and in any case, you have to walk to see beautiful payasages. Thank you again for the hospitality.

An absolutely outstanding stay! Clean, spacious room, great location - and above all - absolutely outstanding hosts! You'll have it all here, including great food and all you need to plan trips to Hapao (a must!) and Batad. Won't think twice !

After an epic Journey to banaue from manilla, we arrived in banaue with only A reservation at louie's Inn 2 days later. Luckily she had 2 spare rooms for our friends and us. Food and service were great as well as the location, the guide recommended (David) and the smiles of people working there. I hope to come back and that nothing has changed.

Randy and his inn were absolutely fantastic! We couldn't ask for a more perfect host. One of us was sick upon arrival and Randy did everything he could to assist us (including holding the room for an extra night just in case it was required, which is was). Very basic accomodation but all necessities available like warm showers, a comfortable bed and power sockets (although only in a shared living area). I highly recommend doing a day trip to Batad and take Renny with you. His insight to the terraces was perfect. Book with Randy. You won't regret it.

Randolph was an outstanding host. He just loves taking care of his guests and we really felt at home in Banaue. Being at Randy's was our best experience in the Philippines for many reasons. We don't forget Genesis, his nephew, best tour guide and tricycle driver ever ;) You go back to school though ;). We'll never forget our stay with you guys. Take care of yourself and your families. I had a great stay at Randy's place. I met Randy briefly before his visit to Manila and he made sure I felt at home and had everything I needed for my stay. His staff were very helpful, Genesis and Jessie helped arrange tours to both Batad rice terraces and the Bogyah hot springs. They were always there when I needed any assistance or advice. The rooms are quite basic, but they have all the essentials for a great stay, plus an optional breakfast for 80php which makes a great start to the day. Only thing I would say is pack a pair of earplugs to block out the sound of the tricycles and church bells early morning. I would highly recommend Randy's place!

The biggest advantage of Randy's Inn is Randy himself! He is so warm, hospitable and carrying. With him you can organize a whole visit in Banaue area with a reasonable cost. The accommodation is exactly as on the pictures. Simple but what else you need?

Randy was an exceptionally great host, from the time I arrived, to having him go over the sights and attractions of Banaue/Batad. He genuinely cares for his guests and I never felt pressured at any time. His tours are well organized and the people working there are great. Would definitely recommend anyone coming here to stay with Randy!

Me and my girlfriend had a very nice time at Randolph house. When you come in Banaue with a night bus they will catch you at the tourist information. You can also ask for booking a trekking or day walk with a guide (usually somebody from is family ask for his cousin (URL HIDDEN) we really recommande you to go there and stay.

Randy's place was a perfect spot. I have so many good things to say! First of all, Randy really does create a familial atmosphere among the guests. He cooks a wonderful breakfast in the morning for guests to enjoy (80 pesos) around a communal table. He also arranged for my travel partner and I to explore the rice terraces with two other guests, which was so much fun. He also arranged all of the necessary transportation for us to visit the best spots to view the rice terraces. He was helpful and knowledgeable and allowed us to make the most of our short trip. I highly recommend staying with Randy!

We had an amazing stay in Banaue thanks to Elise and her husband who welcomed us in this nice chalet. Wonderful view, peaceful atmosphere, clean and well equiped. It will be a highlight of our trip, definitely worth the long road from Manila. Ian was not present but very helpful all along our stay. I can only recommend to go there. Safe option.

My family and I (4 adults, a healthy senior citizen and a 5 yr old child) had a wonderful 2n/3d stay for the new year! It was perfectly chilly and the mountains were covered with clouds in the mornings and afternoons. This Chalet has the best viewing deck in all of Banaue (my son said it was the coolest thing ever as he could just stand there enveloped and be "one" with the clouds hahahahaha). We enjoyed all the things Ian provided (wifi, cozy beds, books, board games, organized kitchen, candles, griller at the viewing deck, and most specially the mint herb straight from his garden, the towels he provided had a warming rack and the spacious bath has a heater). We were not disturbed at all by the respectable caretaker Conrad but he would gladly assist us every time we needed him. Communication with Ian is a breeze, he even recommended a very good restaurant on our way to Banaue where we had our lunch. Most of all, there was no air pollution all through out our stay except for one house/hotel who had fireworks during new year's eve. We also had a road trip to Sagada on our 2nd day to visit the Sagada Orange Orchard. This beautiful Chalet is very highly recommended for family bonding.

Ian's Banaue Chalet was amazing! If you're looking for adventure and would like to experience the beauty of Banaue, Ian will be happy to help with your arrangements and at the end of the day offer a relaxing place to stay. Their caretakers JR and Elice will even be happy to cook for you if you're really too tired at the end of the day. BUT if you're like my friends and me who are just looking for a cool place to relax and are too lazy for the long hikes around Banaue, Ian's place is also perfect for you. It's all in the little details. The place is really what you see in the photos. Clean, cozy, homey and absolutely gorgeous but on top of everything, there's a heated towel rack and comforters, a lovely kitchen that you can actually cook in unlike in some listings where they give you a microwave oven and call it a kitchen, complete cookware and utensils, coffee and tea maker and even your own outdoor grill. As for the service, Ian was really attentive and easy to get in touch with. He gave us all the instructions we would need to get there, the best places to visit and what to expect during our stay. He was even the one who calls me whenever I had questions that needed more detailed answers. JR, their caretaker was also really amazing and we had the chance to chat him up and he had some really nice stories to tell about Banaue since we really didn't go out much. He was also nice enough to offer us some fresh produce from their garden. Will I go back here? Absolutely!

We loved Ians place! I will definetly book here again if I go back to Banaue. Ian is quick to respond and friendly. His caretaker was easy to communicate with and very helpful as well. Staying here allowed us to rest and recharge between travels and hikes. The apartment is clean, beautiful and well equipped. The beds are comfortable. Highly recommended!

I went for a trip with my dad to banaue to visit the rice terraces and hanging coffins and the experience was amazing. I wouldn't recommend driving from Manila, find someone to drive you up as it is a long drive, but once you are there the caretakers Elise and JR are lovely and clean the house every morning as well as offering to cook dinner. The trip to sagada and the hungduan waterfalls were incredible - something you're never likely to do again!

A magical place to watch the fog over the rice terraces. Impeccably clean restrooms, and surprisingly warm and cozy huts. My family (including two kids under 3 years old) enjoyed our stay a lot!

A nice place to stay 12 km or 20' tricycle drive from Banaue. The view on the rice terasses is amazing. Friendly staff, clean lodges and shared showers. The food is also nice. We did not meet our host notwithstanding we messaged with him. The guided tours are rather expensive but it is possible to arrange them all by yourself. I'll definitely recommend it.

This place is amazing! I recommend it. The huts are super cute, the shared washrooms are pristine, and the views breathtaking! I have 2 recommendations to people planning to staying tin the area. First, plan a few days in the area... it's a 20hr round trip from La Union and 16hrs from Manila by bus. Do yourself a favour and take a few days to enjoy the Cordillera. Secondly, arrange for pick up from the resort before you are ready to go. We waited an hour for a tricycle to come pick us up. Plan in advance!

We really loved our stay here! The cottages are super simple and very cozy, they are the perfect temperature during the cold mountain nights! We were so thankful for hot water here, as well. The food was all very nice and the service very good. PLUS, we loved the view so much we spent the first afternoon simply sitting at one of the view tables enjoying the scenery with some cold San Miguel beers. I highly recommend this place for anyone who would NOT enjoy staying in the hustle & bustle of the main town but would rather get some peace and quiet, the drive is not far, it is definitely worth it! Also- ask the staff for a bonfire at night, and don't forget to look at the stars, they are AMAZING here :)

Not only are the views amazing but the staff is too! The restaurant's menu was good and the rooms clean! It may have been the cleanest facilities I have experienced in PI yet. They arrange transportation and guides at a lower rate than in town and pick you up at your convenience. Amazing people, amazing place!

The hosts are very helpful and the communication was even before my arrival very good. They cared for me. It is a rather rustic hotel, but good and clean.

The room in 7th heaven is basic but the view is probably the best of Banaue. The cafe downstrairs is a meeting point for travellers, there is a nice terrace over Banaue, the food is good. But the best of our reservation with 7th heaven has been the guide we met there: David ! He's part of the family managing 7th heaven and we went trecking with him during 3 days. David is so nice and interesting, every second of our treck with him was a pleasure. He is very professional and friendly at the same time. We strongly recommend to go trecking with him. Cute place, basic rooms, and a nice restaurant downstairs. The view from the terrace is beautiful. Friendly staff (they even came to the bus station to pick us up). The washrooms are very clean and with hot water. The only thing is that there were no charging outlets in our rooms, so you either had to charge in the common area or downstairs in the restaurant. It wasn't a big problem for us.

Beautiful apartment with splendid views over the rice fields. the place is quiet, clean, comfortable, well equipped and tastefully decorated. We spent three days in ideal conditions. We highly recommend this address in Banaue. a little flat only if you have difficulty walking because there is a long staircase to get housing. You can book without hesitation, you will not be disappointed, this is perfect inside and out!

Ian's place is very nice and meets modern, 'Western' standards. The chalet stands out in comparison to the surroundings. It was particularly great to have a fully equipped kitchen. Ian was very communicative and shared detailed information via email. We didn't meet him, but the caretakers will make sure you enjoy your stay. If you're happy to pay a little more than the going rate, they can organize transportation, tours, and food for you. We didn't have consistent hot water or wifi, but perhaps that's expectable for this area. Thanks for having us.

We want to thank Ian and Peter for the warm welcome and their assistence during our stay. The chalet was the best place to stay during our 3 weeks holiday in the Philippines! The view from the chalet of the rice terraces is amazing. We appreciated the help of Elise, the housekeeper. The chalet is outside the centre of Banaue (1,5 km). At night there are no disturbing noises, we had a very good sleep. Taxi's and other transport are expensive. The access from Manilla to Banaue is rather difficult, we took the night bus from Manilla (9 hours). On demand Ian can arrange the rent of a car with driver from Manilla to Banaue during your stay.

Banaue Chalet is a true gem! Nestled in lush green, only a short tricycle ride away from bustling Banaue, the place overlooks rice terraces and has fantastic views over the mountains. The Chalet is beautifully designed with local art, nice day loungers and a very comfortable bed with ample bedding. The kitchen is very well-appointed and has everything you could possibly need. Great to prepare and have a fine meal. Ian, together with caretaker couple Elise and JR, are very communicative, make you feel so welcome and are the greatest hosts. This is, without doubt, the best place to stay in Banaue and I would recommend it wholeheartedly!

The place was perfect, if you're looking for quiet, scenic, and classy accommodation in banaue this is the place for you. By far the best place in banaue to stay. Can't say any negative isuue about the place other than the 80 steps you have to take to reach the place which is not so senior citizen friendly. But overall we had a wonderful time here. What a wonderful time! I felt incredibly welcomed, not just by the host, but by the entire town. All of my needs were met and I was able to focus on enjoying the beautiful scenery and wonderful locals rather than worrying about where I was staying. Top-notch, highly recommended!

Accessible and easy to locate. Nice if you're going to stay for a while. The people are nice and are mostly approachable. The place is also peaceful and has a cool breeze.

The mother and brother were very welcoming and helpful, kind and happy to assist and very trusting. Place was clean and homey. even if I paid an extra 1800 it was worth it and I think Airbnb billed the stay so cheap so I don't mind paying extra to her . Place was quiet and accessible to market. Even if there was no shower heater its ok we were allowed to use a large kettle to heat water. Hope to meet Adeline in the future . This was a nice experience.

Given the location and setting, and limited options in the area, we would ultimately recommend to friends for a 1 night stay on route to Banawe/Sagada(URL HIDDEN)Positives: The view with rice terraces and mountains is stunning, particularly at sunset and sunrise (the cockerels will make sure you are awake!) and, being 75 mins drive south of Banawe, this made a good option to stop at, on the drive from Manila towards Banawe/Sagada(URL HIDDEN)Negatives: The accommodation was certainly basic and at $60 a night, more expensive than similar places we stayed elsewhere on the trip. The self contained unit that is on airbnb was full when we booked, so (with advanced notice) our family of 4 was instead accommodated in a room in the main house. However when we arrived, it turned out this only had space for 1 double bed + 1 very uncomfortable camp bed (ie. not enough beds!), with no towels. There were some food options available, though basic, so would recommend eating first - eg. our burgers were ok at a pinch but contained a slice of ham with no beef burger contained!

The sagada heritage village was wonderful. It's a little out of town, but lyn organised to pick us up and drop us back. The accommodation is clean and simple, in a stunning area of the forest... So it's also quiet. For the adventurers, it's very close to the cave entrances! Only a short walk to explore underground!

We had a great stay at Sagada Heritage Village. The place is fairly new so it's clean and well maintained. During our stay, construction was ongoing but we didn't mind, since it didn't get in our way and done during daytime, when we were out exploring. It was a family trip and my cousins stayed in the hut, which I was told was good for 20. It looked deceivingly small from the outside but had plenty of space with beds set-up. We are fairly short so it was no problem, but I can see the low ceilings being a problem for taller people. Their hut even had a 2nd level and a fireplace, which worked well. My husband and I had a separate hut good for 2, which you had to climb. All beds are supplied with towels. Bring bug spray. There are lot's of flying bugs at night-which are attracted to light and we had big cockroaches in our hut. There are assigned bathrooms for each hut, which is great since we didn't have to share with other guests. There is an option for a warm shower. It was clean but was not supplied with toiletries, so remember to bring your own. There is a hut with a big screen TV, which I assume you can use, but we didn't. Free wifi is available upon request. They also have a kitchen, where you can order meals. Alternatively, there is also a restaurant about 50 meters away. Staff was helpful, but mostly stayed out of our way. This was good since we felt we had some privacy. They have their own tour guides, whom they work with. This was convenient for us since we didn't have to look for one. Henry & Richie were awesome tour guides. Funny, yet informative. Overall, we had a comfortable stay. Sleeping in traditional huts helped make our Sagada trip even more memorable!

The place was absolutely great. We could also pay to have a bonfire the evening we stayed there. Blankets were not in the hut but they immediately provided us with two warm ones as we asked. The linens are soft and super warm and we had a very nice sleep. They can also provide you breakfast and dinner, for an extra price. We had dinner and it was good. They are still doing renovations and adds to the heritage. We are sure once it will be finished it will be an amazing place.

It was an awesome experience! The place is beautiful. Owners and Staff are very accomodating. Highly recommended as the place is situated away from the Town proper where it's very crowded and busy.

The place reminds me of the old Baguio with lush mountains and pine trees everywhere which give you that pine tree scented breeze. We love this place and we enjoyed our stay here. We'll definitely stay here again next time we are in Sagada.

Jayson and Lyn were very accommodating from the start. Since it was a random trip, they were very helpful in booking my bus tickets to and from Sagada. Upon arrival, they helped me come up with an itinerary that would best suit the experience that I want. Living inside the native huts was also a unique experience. Since it is a few minutes away from the town, it was very peaceful and quiet. Though the restrooms are detached from the units, it didn't bother me at all since it was well kept. They also provided the transportation whenever I want to go to the town center.

We would like to say a huge thank you to jesi, siegrid and to the rest of her family for a memorable stay at the bnb on the hill. We weren't expecting the amazing hospitality from day 1 and the smell of the amazing bread everytime you step at the front door Jesi was very helpful in entertaining all of my questions right before we get there. Her guidebook is simply amazing and we've been using it for our sagada trip. You can't go wrong with her guidebook. We've also met jesi to say our thank you for her help For siegrid's place, we really love it! The house is accurate in the description and truly a local living. The bed is really big and soft! You will defintly have a good sleep after a day of hike! The only concern is the low shower pressure in the comfort room but that is okay since the town is all about conserving water Overall, the trip is unforgetable because of the place and their hospitality! As we are looking foward to stay and see them again soon

BnB on the hill is the perfect retreat, just a few minutes south of Sagada town. The views from the 2nd floor, where we stayed, are magnificent and we thoroughly enjoyed lying in bed with the windows wide open to feel the cool breeze. The room was cosy and very comfy and we made use of the kitchenette to make breakfast some mornings. The house below is always busy with activity and the smell of baking bread is divine. Siegrid and her family were really friendly and we particularly enjoyed being welcomed home by little David after our walks. What a sweetheart! Thank you so much for allowing us to share in your lovely family home! Hopefully we will see you again one day.

We booked 'BnB on the Hill' only a few days in advance of arrival, and it turned out to be a great place to stay! Siegrid and her family were very hospitable and we felt very comfortable during our time staying in their home. We were greeted warmly upon our arrival, and shown to our room on the top floor. (The view is fantastic!) The room was small, but cosy and clean. The bed was very comfortable. Jane (Siegrid's mother) kindly offered to be our guide for the Adventure Trail tour, as well as arranged a guide for the Sumigang Cave tour for myself later in the day. Both were well worth it, and we felt we made good use of our one full day in Sagada! We were even so lucky to try some of the delicious homemade bread :) We would definitely recommend 'BnB on the Hill' to anyone visiting Sagada.

We had a very nice stay at Jane's home, the view from the room was amazing and the house is right in the center of the city. Jane's family is very welcoming and made us feel like at home. Highly recommended place to stay in Sagada where there's a few lodges to pick in. Clean, spacious and a cozy place to stay in after a long tiring day from adventures of activities. They serve the best breakfast at your convenient time. The host is very accommodating, responsive to inquiries and most of all considerate to requests and needs. An interactive host that tells you where to eat, where to go and most of all helps you plan out your activities. My first time in Sagada and I now sure know where to stay with my future returns!

5 of us stayed at the attic eh it's own bathroom. I didn't mind paying more but atleast I got the privacy of using the bathroom just for ourselves. We all had our own beds nearly set up and clean towels. There is even a clothe hanger outside the window. Only CON is the cockroaches that come at night. Maybe because it's rainy season so they are out.

The place was simply perfect! You can feel there like at home and the cabin is clean and has a very special atmosphere. Apart from that u can eat delicious breakfast and other meals there, chat with a wonderful host and have a trip to the caves easily organized. I highly recommend it!

The log cabin was beautiful and clean and its pine scent smelled so good! Our host Mavi and her sisters were very hospitable, helpful and accommodating. They helped us arrange our tours and even shared their delish family meal with us. We liked our place in the attic very much as there was a lot of space for the 8 of us and the view from the big windows was refreshing. The location of the house was excellent as it was very near good restaurants, cafes and shops. It is also walkable to some sights. We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful log cabin. It was a clean and comfortable space. The host was very accommodating and setup an extra mattress when she found out that all 3 of us needed a separate mattress. It was a little chilly, so be prepared for that (the blankets provided were warm enough after I double layered my clothes)

it was a wonderful experience staying at the attic of the beautiful log house! the attic was definitely the best place to stay :) i would HIGHLY recommend staying there for your next trip - the location is great, view is awesome, its close to all the nice places that you will want to visit..... also, last but not the least - great hospitality!
