The property is well located in the beautiful village of Joucas near Roussillon. Patrice was very welcome and informed us on things to see in the area. The apartment is typical with exposed beams and stone walls vaulted arch. Change of scenery, but housing has flaws of its charm to know little brightness and limited comfort.

Nice little cottage in a village ideally placed to discover the Luberon (Gordes, Roussillon, Oppède, Lacoste) and also hiking opportunities that start from the top of the village (to Gordes, Murs Lioux, the gorges of the difficult but amazing Véroncle) . Joucas offers a haven to relax in the heart of the Luberon.

We spent a wonderful time in the home of Christine. The description corresponds exactly to reality. The setting is enchanting and typical house. No noise, quiet, rest, relaxation, swimming pool. All this in a kind antiques universe as if we were at the isle on sorgues. We also got to enjoy all the cooking utensils left by Christine to concoct meals kings. Herbs directly from the garden. In short a real vacation we will be back! The owner is lovely and provided us all the advice necessary to our system, a true sense of hospitality. Thank you Christine.

Christine was a perfect host, all communication was clear and helpful. We were much later than anticipated in arriving and she understanding and accommodating. The house was exactly as described and exactly what we wanted. Secluded in beautiful Provence surroundings. You really feel close to nature but not isolated, Joucas is close by, we could cycle there in less than 10 mins to a small shop for supplies. There is also a lovely restaurant there. There is a road running past the front of the house, but it didn't hinder our sense of privacy or disturb us in any way. The kitchen had everything we needed, the bedrooms comfortable and bathrooms clean. It's also in a great location in the Luberon, easy access to all notable places such as the stunning Gordes and amazing lavender routes. The view out over the red cliffs in the evenings is priceless. If a wholesome, close to nature, private experience in Provence is what you are after I highly recommend Christine's place.

We just spent three weeks in the home of Christine. Three idyllic week! Housing perfectly matches the description given by its host. Everything is made to inspire calmness, serenity, well-being. Undeniably, this Provencal house has a soul, and we can clearly see the harmony between it and its owner. Christine was able to decorate this house with delicacy and sensitivity. Each day brings a subtle detail to discover unnoticed yesterday. A delight ! The external environment is neat, while remaining very natural. The welcome Christine got us was very friendly and gave us the impression of finding an old friend. Arriving on a Sunday, she was kind enough to provide our evening meal. The location of the house is perfect for exploring the area. There are many wonderful places to visit within two hours by car, and for all tastes. As for Christine, is a discreet person who made themselves available when we needed her. A wonderful stay! The house is very nice, spacious, very well equipped and the decoration style "brocante" offers an additional charm. The garden is beautiful, with a large and beautiful pool at the back and out of sight. The only downside is the road that runs past the house, but with little traffic. The location in the heart of the Luberon is perfect for visits and in a beautiful environment. Christine is a pleasant and welcoming host, available while remaining discreet.

Lovely house, simple, clean and spacious. Great outdoor setting with views and perfect dipping pool. Super location for exploring the Luberon Valley - our family of 5 including three teens rented bikes in Roussillon (reserved in advance) town and rode to various perched villages on lovely back roads. Also walking distance up the hill to Roussillon surrounded by vineyards and lavender fields. We enjoyed our dinners outside on terrace eating wonderful produce and foods from local markets, and sipping delicious Domaine de Tara wines and rose. Kitchen was well stocked with supplies, and plenty of dishes and seating for large groups (2 families easily). Highly recommend this gem. Michele was a wonderful host and very accessible and communicative.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay here. The house is extremely well-appointed and the location is stunning, and Michele was incredibly helpful throughout the whole process. And to top it all off, the house is located on a winery with really lovely wine (while we were there, they were open daily so we could always buy wine for dinner). We didn't walk into town as much as we would have liked because of the hot temperatures and the fact that it's a rather big hill to take strollers up, but it's convenient to have town a short walk away. If you're looking for the perfect family vacation, you will not be disappointed!

Everything reaches a level of quality that neighbors with perfection!

This place is an absolute gem! From the moment you get there, you have the impression to be living on some movie set! Everything (house, garden, pool) is beautiful and well maintained, the neighbourhood very quiet and friendly, the apartment is 100% as per the pictures in the ad. The surrounding villages are all lovely and in summer time the most difficult part will be for you to decide on which event / market / concert you want to go :) Avignon is just half an hour drive away, we recommend to visit and attend the show called Luminessences. The region is also very much organized for hiking, cycling, and other outdoors activities. If you are looking for a sunny, refreshing, "countryside" type of stay, this is your place. Our hosts were outstanding, from waiting for us on our late (close to midnight) arrival, to helping us with all types of requests, they have been the kindest and most welcoming hosts ever, at the same time as not being intrusive at any moment. Most appreciated their willingness to get our feedback in order to improve the place...which is already perfect anyway! I warmly recommend and look forward to going back there!

Everything was just perfect. This extremely clean and cozy house enjoys its great location for exploring the beautiful Luberon villages and their local markets. I liked sleeping with the opened windows because nights there are something captivating. David and Genevieve are great hosts - they were always supportive. Lovely, charming place near Joucas... and very good hosts! Our family of 4 adults enjoyed our stay - very comfortable and well appointed. Genevieve and David also thoughtfully provided a few welcome amenities like coffee, juice, eggs... We chose the place as we wanted a quiet break after a busy couple of weeks .. and it didn't disappoint. It was great to have the courtyard at the front to sit out in the evenings. Well located for day trips to the many beautiful villages around.

Very well located, halfway between Gordes and Roussillon, this delightful and very comfortable house in the heart of the vineyards delighted us. The very warm welcome and lots of attention has allowed us to meet and enjoy the guests that we would never have crossed paths without Airbnb!

It is an excellent house. We stayed for three nights, all worked very well and really enjoyed our stay. The house is spacious, very well located, close to other villages in the Luberon, internet connection is perfect and fast, TV with plenty of channels, beds are very comfortable. I highly recommend this home!

The house is very nice, well appointed and comfortable. The front yard is really great. We ate all our breakfasts in the morning sun and makes good evening barbecues. Gena and David very kindly welcomed us with a series of tips on things to see and walks to do. In short, everything was perfect!

David and his wife were very nice and gave us some great information on the surroundings. The house is in a great quiet location and has all mod cons we felt really good. Unfortunately in the end we have checked out late and caused trouble for David for which apologize once again it was our fault not taking good enough care.

Maryse is a lovely host. Her husband, Bill offers an interesting American in France perspective. Maryse made terrific breakfasts and warmly welcomed us and provides useful information on villages and surrounds. The room is as depicted and comfortable. We really enjoyed breakfast looking over the fields.

The home Maryse was nice and pleasant. The room was very special and also with private bathroom. All was very clean and as described. It was truly amazing the breakfast in the garden with beautiful mountain views. Maryse and her husband was very kind to help me with the boardingpasses. An unforgettable stay thanks to the beauty of the region and the home of our host! The room matches the description: independent, functional and furnished and decorated with great care and charm, spotlessly clean, with a very comfortable bed. The house is situated in a quiet location but close to all the attractions (beautiful villages, ocher, Bories village, ...). The garden is beautiful! We regret that our too short stay did not allow us to enjoy the walks in the area. We had a perfect stay at Maryse's, who welcomed us warmly. The room is tastefully decorated and well equipped, the location is wonderful, with a great view from Maryse and Bill's beautiful garden (where we got to enjoy a delicious breakfast). It's an easy walk to the village of Roussillon which was very convenient, and Maryse gave us good advice on where to go and how to get there. I recommend it wholeheartedly! Nous avons passé quelques jours parfaits chez Maryse, qui nous a accueilli très chaleureusement. La chambre est décorée avec goût et bien équipée, le cadre est magnifique, tout comme la vue depuis le beau jardin de Maryse et Bill, où nous avons pris de délicieux petits déjeuners. PARADISE! We had the most peaceful 5 days ever here and we were so sad to leave. The Suite is the perfect place to stay for a relaxing time in the beautiful South of France. There is everything you need set out for you, including seating areas all over the ground, obviously this place has been lived in and loved in! We found the place very romantic and the sunset at the end of every night was breathtaking. The bird song and the sound of the wind through the trees is perfect for whiling away the hours reading. We so loved the natural swimming pond, it was so warm by 6pm and so much nicer than a pool. The bassin is also perfect for those 35 degree days. There is also the Hammam too for colder evenings. The hosts are lovely and helped us with advice and recommendations whenever needed it. The place is a perfect base for visiting other towns, although you definitely need a car. We visited Aix en Provence on route from Marseille- Rousillon, Gordes and the very quaint Goult are also ten minutes away by car. It is also well worth the 1.5 hour drive to Avignon, its' fabulous! We didn't have time to fit in more but there is so much more to see. We want to come back here every year now, we fell in love with the place and we are sure you will too! ps. Lulu the cat was also super sweet, just not to birds!

We stayed 2 weeks at Tony's place between July and August. It's very good location for traveling around the Vaucluse department (Mont Ventoux, Gordes, abbaye de sénanque), few minutes by walk to Rousillon. The place has very nice view on the valley/mountains around, it's quiet (of course you need to get accustomed to cicadas), and very well equipped. It's surely a good place to stay and visit Provence. The house is in the heart of the country. Great view and great location. The home should be improved .... like for example ... having a wifi .... and not having an unpleasant smell of mold downstairs. The fact that there is no protection bar on the foyer's back ... for the rest gorgeous

Very nice little town house which is located in an ideal location in the heart of Roussillon! The hosts did everything to make our arrival and departure easy! We highly recommend.

Lovely little house in the heart of Roussillon, a short walk from shops, bars, boulangerie etc., and just a 5 / 10 minute walk to the Ochre trail. Olive oil and teas are provided, and the kitchen is well-stocked with cooking equipment. Very kind hosts, with good English, and they are very prompt at communicating - they were nearby as well, if any issues were to have arisen. One thing to bear in mind is that the bedroom is on a mezzanine accessible by a ladder, and with no barrier, so it is better for more able travellers. But overall, a great place - thank you!

Simple accommodation, perfect for a we. Clara was very friendly and very welcoming. In the center of Roussillon you just have to go down the street to see a beautiful sunset surrounding ochres.

Welcoming hosts, easy to park out of the village but very accessible! It is located in the center of Roussillon therefore appreciable to go out in the evening. Calm despite everything! We recommend !

Great location with a fantastic view. Quiet, comfortable and secluded, while easily walkable into Roussillon with a number of lovely restaurants. We - 3 couples - used the place as a base for cycling around Luberon's villages and hills, for which it was an ideally-placed property. On days when we were not cycling, we were able to get by car without difficulty to other places we wanted to see.

We just spent a wonderful week family vacation in this house. The location is perfect (village of Roussillon on foot and all the most beautiful villages of the Luberon in the vicinity). We were very well received. The garden is superb in this season and the open view of a valley is unforgettable (especially sunsets). The interior of the house is very well equipped, simply decorated, Claire and neat. In short, a great memory!

Armelle's home is lovely---the view is absolutely amazing and is even better than the pictures show. The view was one of the reasons we chose Armelle's home and we were not disappointed. We spent most of our time outside (in August) around the pool (which was too cold for me to swim but the kids still went in, we ate all of our meals outside, and the kids had plenty of room to run and play. The location is also wonderful. A short walk into Roussillon, close to Gordes and very close (within an hour) to unlimited towns to explore. We highly recommend this property.

We didn’t get a chance to meet Armelle, but her communication with us before and during the trip was always quick, friendly and informative. We’ve stayed at several Airbnbs in Provence in the past, and this one was by far the nicest. The house is spacious and well-maintained. The property is very private and quiet, and the view of the valley is stunning. The wifi was very fast and other than a few temporary signal drops it was very reliable. The rooms were large with places to store clothing. Two of the rooms had queen-sized beds and the other two had 2 single beds each. One of the rooms has a large window looking out over the dining room, but there is a curtain for privacy. The appliances were all in good shape and the furnishings looked new. There is a booklet that details important information about the house in French & English, and includes information about surrounding towns, markets, hikes, etc. The house is about a 5-minute walk up the hill to Roussillon, where you can find a grocery store, bakery, butcher, and many restaurants with terraces to enjoy the beautiful view. It is about a 15-minute drive to a much larger Intermarché grocery store in Apt, where you can find just about anything you could possibly want. One thing we’ll clarify, which might be a little confusing for other non-French speakers, is the bathroom/toilet setup. There are two toilets, each in a small WC with a sink, one upstairs and one down. The 2 bedrooms with queen-sized beds each had a shower and sink, but no bathroom door separating them from the bedroom interior. There is another room upstairs with a large bathtub and 2 sinks. The water pressure was great and there were plenty of large towels and washcloths provided. We feel very fortunate to have found this gem, and would certainly recommend it to anyone planning to visit the area.

We had a wonderful stay! House is in a great location, a 10 minute walk from the beautiful village of Roussillon - and short drives to other scenic villages like Gordes etc. The view over the valley is even better than in the pictures! Small grocery store and bakery in Roussillon - you have to go to Apt to do a bigger grocery shop. Village also has a selection of good restaurants/cafes and nice gift shops and boutiques. House has great living space - we were a large group and did not feel cramped. Very clean and kitchen had every utensil you could need! We were there for 2 weeks and a cleaner came twice during our stay which was great.

Beautiful new house with spacious, carefully decorated in a Provencal spirit perfectly up to date and charm. It is ideally located, both close to everything (the beautiful listed village of Roussillon is within walking distance) but with the feeling of being alone in the world and no vis-a-vis. Nice swimming pool, nice garden and a perfect right view (you can see Gordes and Joucas off). It is also an ideal starting point for many sites in Provence (Gordes, Ménerbes, Bonnieux, L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, Oppède ... etc). Everything was perfect, the reception and check-out both pro and warm ... short but happiness !!
