I was working on an art project in Viterbo and the cute little borgo of Bassano in Teverina was a great place to come back to after a busy day. The surrounding countryside is lovely and the guest suite was charming and comfortable. Bassano in Teverina is one of the region’s best-kept secrets, a great location for a weekend getaway. Charm is a wonderful host, made me feel welcome in the town’s pretty little historic centre.

We simply had an incredible time here. We were a group of 10, from Canada, Egypt, Israel, and UK, and all absolutely loved the place and the experience. Jacinta was so accommodating; we were late to arrive and she was very accommodating. Additionally, she took half of the group around Orte to find fresh pasta, mozzarella di bufala, ricotta, bread, etc. She really went out of her way to make sure we felt at home and answering the many many questions that were asked about the area. It was really an incredible experience; the kitchen was perfectly well equipped for staying in an cooking, with plenty of firewood to keep the fire going at all times. Everyone enjoyed taking long walks along the dirt roads and meeting some of the neighbours around. The setting outdoors is absolutely beautiful. The rooms are great, we were very comfortable with 10 people in the house. I (and the rest of the group) highly recommend and are looking forward to coming back as soon as possible. We enjoyed a lovely 5 days with 10 people. There was plenty of space in the house with spare beds still available. The pool and outdoor area is perfect for relaxing all day in the sun, as well as ample available shade. Would definitely stay again.

Great location to see a lot of Italy. Giacinta welcomed us with home-made dinner and tiramisu and plenty of enthusiasm. The house is lovely, clean and has all requirements. The pool is great as well. We stayed 4 nights, visited Rome (only 45 minutes by train). We would definitely recommend staying at Casale Eredita and we will be back in the future!

Giacinta was the perfect hostess! They received us with open arms as if we were her friends for years. She led us immediately around the house and introduced us to her beautiful property! We arrived at Casale Eredita after 3 hectic days in Rome, looking for a somewhere to relax. I have to say, we found the perfect place. The house is very comfortable. 3 large bedrooms, each with its own en-suite shower room, kitchen and living area, terrace, all right next to the swimming pool and set in a lovely garden. All is kept very clean and in good order. You will see the love invested in the house, the decorations, the garden, everything. When you meet the owner, you will understand why. A warmhearted kind person, Giacinta has put her soul into this place. We would come back any time. Enjoy your stay as much as we did.

We had the pleasure to spend our holiday at Casale Eredita - a beautifull and clean house, with all the luxury and equipment you need on a holiday. Our two daughters loved the pool (also when dark, looking at the stars - even saw a shooting star), the cats, the wifi (of course!) and we could take them to nice places in the neigherhood. To get to Rome by train was a 'piece of cake' (we went twice). Giacintha is a warm host, loves to tell you about Italy and brought us delicious marmelade, tiramisu and pasta sauce. Don't forget the milk, tomatoes and beer at our arrival :-). And last but not least; we are very greatfull Giacintha and her husband build a ramp for our youngest daughter so she could easily get in en out the house in her wheelchair by her self. Thank you! Really most excellent place with spacious garden, big terrace, open fireplace & every equipment you could want! Very helpful hosts and neighbours, lots of room, and great places nearby! Everything was neat and clean and specially prepared and taken care of. Highly recommended! In a few minutes drive: Bomarzo, Villa Lante, Bulicame (free entry), lake Bolsena, lake Vico and many Etruscan villages.. Check it out! Also try the ice-cream in the cafe up the stairs!!!

Он находится в приятном тихом городке, где интересно погулять, и можно посмотреть на крепость и собор. В окрестностях так же много всего интересного. Добираться до дома лучше всего на машине.

We were a family of 17 people, including children and elderly, and spent 4 nights in the Casale Piantata. Located about 1 hour drive from Rome, It has turned out to be a perfect location for our family holiday. It is far enough from the nearest town Orte to have the serenity of a countryside farm-house, and yet close enough to it to have easy access to a supermarket, etc. Giacinta was lovely, helpful and very welcoming. She helped us find the place upon fist arrival and made sure we feel as comfortable as possible. She gave us the feeling that she's always ready to help us with everything we might need, and actually did a lot for us when we had special requests. Moreover, she makes the most amazing Tiramisu in Italy! The bedrooms and showers were all clean and fully equipped, with all necessary utilities. The kitchen had all the basic items we needed and the original dining/living-room was comfortable and large enough for all of us. The newly-renovated swimming pool was perfect for both the younger ones and the adult's. We could not have asked for a better place to stay!

We stayed in Casale Piantata with 13 people and two dogs. It is a wonderful, large and comfortable house, very well equipped and cosy with a fantastic patio and a cooling swimming pool. Giacinta, who took care of us, did this very well. She was very kind and helpful. She made us the best tiramisu ever tasted! We visited Rome by train, which was very easy and affordable (12€ for a return train ticket, metro and bus fares in Rome included). We also visited the gardens of Vilaa d'Este in Tivoli and the monster park of Bomarzo. Casale Piantata is located in a quiet, rural and beautiful environment in which you can mountainbike or make nice walks.

Giacinta was very helpful and kind. The villa is gigantic and so it's the swimming pool, which we really enjoyed. Perfect for a weekend with friends!

We spent a midsummer that maalaiskodissa / 16 pers. Complete hengähdyspaikka close to the center of Orte. The place was really nice and clean - even the swimming pool was purified on a daily basis. My host was very friendly and his friends made our whole group Pasta Bolognese. Yard environment is romantic and beautiful.

Thanks a lot for a very good vacation. Everything lived up to or exceeded our expectation - and they were pretty high before we arrived. Giacinta proved to be the perfect host; welcoming us with an excellent Tiramisu and being helpful and assisting in anyway needed in a very pleasant and discreet way. The location of the house was perfect for us, secluded, but still close to shops, restaurants, of course Rome (the train from Orte works perfectly), Tivoli, Viterbo, Marmora Falls and other interesting places. The house and garden was as good as the pictures on the AirBnb page; beautiful and well kept. All in all a very good experience that we can recommend 100% - our only worry is that this place will become too popular, hence booked that next time we want to go there. Surrounded by wineyards and olive trees, a little charming house located in the italian country side a good walk (with small breaks and in 35-40 degrees less than 1 hour) from the historic town Orte where you can shop groceries and eat at good restaurants. The house is beautiful decorated and we felt very much at home from the first day. The house is bigger than it looks at the pictures and it had all we needed and more. At night the sky is dark and full of stars and we sat out in the garden, enjoying the silence. At day is was very warm, so a little break from the sun was needed, the house was comfortably shady and cooling and also located close to the termic bath, Terme di Orte. The host family was very helpful and warm and took good care of us. It is a perfect summer getaway for relaxing, connecting with nature and experience real authentic italian life. We have been so happy about our stay at this little cosy house and we absolutely recommend this place.

Riccardo and his family have been wonderful hosts. The house is a cozy home away from home, surrounded by green and tranquility. It is a perfect place to come back to after touring the surrounding countryside and ancient Italian villages like Bomarzo, Narni, Vetralla, or Vignanello.

Riccardo's casetta is in the most beautiful part of the Italian countryside you can imagine. The gardens around the house were gorgeous with the most picturesque views of the rolling green hills. The house itself is comfortable and traditional. You do really need a car but we managed without one and walked into Orte. The town itself is wonderful and the views are breathtaking. Would definitely recommend for some peace, quiet and natural beauty.

~This is a lovely traditional rural residence, in a quiet setting, with lovely views. It is not too far from Orte and a big outdoor swimming pool complex nearby. The host is very obliging and helpful.

Great experience felt like being in the heart of the Italian countryside. Very hot at times but the pool was great for cooling off. Hosts are fantastic and the wine and olive oil from the vineyards all around the place gives you a sense of being part of it.

Lovely spacious house with beautiful location in the middle of a vineyard. It was a surprise for us that there was one big house with four bedrooms (one with sofabed) and one smaller one-bedroom building. For us this was perfekt. The pool is greate and of good size. It is easy to get to the house from the major roads, but it is still secluded and quiet. We were met by Chiara at the house when we arrived but no one in the family lives nearby. It was easy to contact Chiara via SMS and she was quick to answer our questions and give us tips about things. I must mention the small restaurant Agriturismo Casal del Noce which is located a mile up the road. We ate an absolutely fantastic dinner there one evening. It is not open every day. We highly recommend Chiara's house!

We had a wonderful time staying at Chiara's house. The house is very spacious and all the bedrooms are very comfortable. The kitchen offered all the facilities we could need and we enjoyed many evenings sitting out on the patio enjoying the beautiful view. The pool was a welcome addition and the kids loved it. Again, the views and tranquility were really special. Chiara was a great host and showed us where everything we needed could be found at check in. She was also available on the phone when we had any questions. Would highly recommend as a place to stay.

I'm not going to review Elisabeth, it's proved helpful and very polite, what I'm going to describe is entirely dedicated to the type of living experience and the location given to us. Unfortunately we have not experienced a pleasant because of that I think was a misunderstanding by habits and lifestyle. Booked for one night only, 6 kids (eventually 5), which was confirmed as an accommodation to the contour of the host. It was then announced that we would be located in a different house and dedicated entirely to us, and treated as independent entire hotel promised. No problem, as long as we arrived on site. Given that the final settlement affittataci differs from the mood of the location seen in photos (I was not aware of the change, but without my photographs were provided about: seeing the style of the house I trusted like that and I did not request photographic support the new location when we were informed of the change. My mistake?) I must point out that we were very bad and uncomfortable. The accommodation was completely different from the kind of vision promised by the host, there were cobwebs and dirt around the house, insects in a couple of beds, odor and high humidity mishandled. All it accompanied by a dilapidated structure. I can understand the way of life of the country, everyone lives freely and as desired, although they had paid 35 euros per person (we are in talks for a partial refund) you can expect a decent service. We will not have to try the arrangement shown in the photos, which exists and was occupied by other guests, which also seems to live as beautiful as shown. What remains is an experience that differed from the agreements and that created discomfort and unpleasantness, housed in a restored part of the barn used as apartment. Too different from those that is shown (also because not shown), completely misleading and unpleasant. Last marginal note that these services were not available in accommodation dedicated to us, talking about the wifi and heating, the latter probably because it was off April 24 (but a bit 'of fresh it was still perceived).

We had an excellent stay at Marco & Francesca's place. It's in a lovely location an hours's train ride from Rome. We were able to spend a day riding their bikes to the nearby town of Giove and a bit of the countryside. Unfortunately we didn't have to time to try out the pizza oven, but judging by the comments in the guest book there, it's a must do.

A really good stay, Marco & Francesca are really nice people and if there is a problem it will be fixed asap. Everything you need is in the house. The location is close too the highway (no sounds or signs) We loved our stay and we like to recommend it to others!

Gianfranco and his family were very welcoming and friendly, we played volleyball with his son and friends the evening we arrived and they gave us fruit from their trees! The surroundings of the B&B is beautiful and we enjoyed use of the lovely outdoor pool. The rooms were great and had everything we needed. The breakfast served by Gianfranco and Patrizia on the terrace was delicious. A perfect stay for a relaxing night on our way to busy Rome! Grazie mille!

We had a great stay here! It was a very hot day, so the air conditioned room and the pool were much appreciated! We stopped here on the way from Tuscany to the Amalfi coast and it was the perfect way to break up the drive and spend time relaxing by the pool! Everything was very clean and the breakfast in the morning was a great touch. I would recommend.

We were made very welcome by our hosts Gianfranco and Patrizia. They were hospitable and most helpful during our stay. The rooms are situated in an apartment up a flight of stairs in their house. They were very clean and the air conditioning was very welcome during a hot period. Breakfast was served in the garden below, and we had use of the family pool - as we were there over a weekend, the family were too, so it was not sole use. The kitchen is in a shed located near the pool - it's quite small but sufficiently equipped to prepare a light lunch or supper - not ideal for cooking. The property was conveniently located near the motorway. It is a homely environment and our hosts made us feel very at home.
