We had a nice stay with two great hosts. The apartment was well appointed and lovely and clean. It was really well setup with lovely little artistic touches and a very comfortable bed. We would both recommend it to others and would stay again if we were travelling to Geelong.

Definitely an AirBnB experience to rave about! Communication was great, check-in was clear and Leigh was lovely (had even turned heater on before my arrival!). The stay is made by the artwork, rustic furniture and unique furnishings. The place was wonderfully clean and tidy, and stocked with many amenities (toiletries, games, breakfast/tea/coffee, maps, things-to-do, menus, plus much more), and was a very quiet space. Would most highly recommend, it was a very relaxed stay and only a few minutes from shops and Deakin University. Thanks heaps again for accommodating me!

An enjoyable stay at Brigid's, very lovely backyard too. Although she wasn't feeling well when we arrived, she still showed us around and made sure we were alright. Loved the area, quiet but not boring. Few min drive away and there are shops/cafes readily available. MUST try the french cuisine 10 min drive away.

Maybe next time we are down in Geelong we'll get a chance to have a chat. The location of the residence is accessible to the CBD of Geelong and close to many things. We enjoyed our time at her home.

Brigid was a great host... Albeit invisible! She was working whilst we were there. Would have enjoyed meeting here we are sure. The notes etc made life and use of her place very easy. The house is very clean and tidy and very well placed to access Geelong and surrounds. Recommend it.

My eleven holydays in Brigids house where wonderful. The accommodation was large & light and I had a big & quiet sleepingroom. Hand-over of keys with no problem. Brigid was very kind and I felt good all around. I would like to visit her again next year.

It was a good place to stay for a weekend get away. Paula was very accomodating. Very comfortable place, felt like home away from home.

This is the second time we have stayed at Paula's place and it really was as good as ever. Paula's place is absolutely immaculate. It feels like walking into a 5 star hotel but it's also nice and homely, it really is a magical combo. You couldn't ask for a better host than Paula. Her communication is perfect, she's kind, witty and even gives you breaky.

Paula welcome us with a big smile even though we arrived quite late at her place. She is very pleasant, sociable and kind. The house is beautiful, extremely clean and very well organized and spacious. We enjoyed the view from the kitchen and had our breakfast outside in the little garden. The house is located on a small street with no noise at all, only had the birds to wake us up. Paula is very focused on the guests to make sure they have a nice experience, which we had. I would definitely like to go back to Paula's place in the future and would definitely recommend her place to the air bnb community.

We stayed there for 5 days as a temporary accommodation and looking for permanent one at one point we thought that why dont we stay there for permanently (which we didn't ask her as we found our room) because i liked that room and locality and paula. Staying with Paula was a delight! The accommodation is fantastic and at a very convenient location near shops and cafes. Paula was very welcoming and accommodating. She let us park our small trailer in her garage spot and offered us a lovely breakfast every day. I definitely recommend Paula as a host to anyone thinking of staying in Geelong!

My friend and I really appreciated the warm welcome from Claire and her family.The room is situated off the main house. It was quiet and very comfortable just like a hotel room. The room was very clean and you could see Claire paid great attention to detail especially as she provided Irish breakfast teabags (we are from Ireland).

This is the best Airbnb I've stayed at by far. Catherine and her lovely family were very welcoming to me and the room was delightful. Clean and quiet with a comfortable bed and a great view over the east side of Geelong. The healthy breakfast option of low sugar cereal and fruit was another bonus. I would definitely stay here again the next time I have business to attend to in Geelong.

I had a nice rest staying with Catherine and her family, they were very welcoming to me while I stayed there. They also provided me with toast for breakfast so I left there feeling full ready for a day on the road. They certainly know how to be good host.

Fantastic, light and modern unit in a great central location to all of Geelong's facilities. Contained everything that we needed - we arrived on a 40 degree day and the air conditioning was superb. Can't fault it and great value for such a spacious flat. We'll be back - thanks Jon.

We really enjoyed staying in Jon's little unit. It was very clean and homely. It's in a very handy spot, given you can walk 5 minutes to a variety of different restaurants, or drive 5-10 minutes in to town. I visited the football at Skilled Stadium, which was also very close by. Thanks Jon for allowing us to bring our little dog, she enjoyed playing in the grass outside and trying the pomegranates that had fallen from the tree. Our only concern was that there's a small gap in the fence next to the car port- but our dog is exceptionally small and fits into these nooks and cranny's where other regular sized dogs wouldn't. All in all, we had a great stay in Jon's beautifully renovated unit.

Jon is a very nice host. Nice house, good for the family. The location is great too, it is near to everything. Me and my family enjoy spending the time over there :)

Everything is exactly the same like in the photo. The cottage has a very well equipped kitchen which is the most lovely part to us and it is very homey. Shampoo and towel is provided just like in the hotel! Love it so so much, will definitely come back again and recommend to the other friends.

We had a fantastic stay in Geelong. We went for a footy match and this place was perfect, its literally only a few minutes walk to the stadium. We arrived quite late after driving all day from Adelaide. Carlo was very lovely and welcoming. It's a little flat at the back of their house. They have done such a nice job of it. Although it's a studio it felt really roomy and very comfortable and homely. It had everything we needed, even some items in the fridge and the hair products were so good. The bed was super comfortable and the heater warmed the place up to it was very cozy. From the flat it's a short walk over the Barton River to Coles and other shops, you also have Little Creatures Brewery a few blocks away which was awesome. Highly recommended a visit. The cafe at the stadium is excellent for coffee and light meals too. You're also not too far from the waterfront and town centre. We would happily stay again.

This was a great apartment and exactly as described. It was more spacious than the photos show and the bed and couch were very comfortable. We liked the attention to detail and the quietness of the location. We stayed for a week and this was the perfect base for exploring the region by car and by bicycle. The kitchenette had quality appliances for easy self-catering and the breakfast provisions were generous and much appreciated. Carlo and Jenni were wonderful hosts and easy to communicate with. Carlo is a very thoughtful host. The place is really clean and there are thoughtful extras supplied such as crumpets and fruit. The bed was really comfortable and Carlo was always prompt in response and very helpful.

We only stayed one night here on the way back from our drive down Great Ocean Road but it was a very comfortable stay! Libby place is clean and next to local shops and restaurants. Down side would be noisey from lots of traffic.

Libby's unit was perfect for our needs. Check-in was very smooth, and the presentation of the unit was superb - right down to the roses on the dining table. We could self-cater or eat out nearby. The location of the supermarket, bottle shop, laundromat and coffee shops was really close, and we could walk. After only a 10-minute drive we were at the waterfront, where our conference was being held, and restaurants and museums were all there. Thank you Libby!

This is a very comfortable space right next door to the Highton shops, so no need to use the car for groceries, cafes etc. The unit was very clean and the bed was really comfy. Appreciated after a long day of travelling!

Great stay. Perfectly clean, very funky place. Warm air con. Breakfast supplies provided which made for a great late snack after a long transit. Communication was excellent. Would stay again for sure.

Leigh's place was just as described. Only had a few minor problems but nothing to stop us from enjoying Leigh's place. I think the place was still being finished as the door to the bathroom didn't have a door handle and the grill on the fan in the bathroom was missing. Leigh did mention there was toast and cereal for breakfast but when we looked for the cereal it was missing. We enjoyed our stay

Great location apart from very step access from the street. The room is very quiet and peaceful sleep. The host are very helpful everything you need is there, they really do go above and beyond.

Cath and John are warm,generous and delightful hosts with a lovely home. The room is set up towards the back of the house and provides you the choice to be private if you wish. There is a cosy outdoor space in the garden near the room to relax. The room is very quiet as is the street. Cath went over and above as host during my stay and took me for drive to visit local markets and nearby townships because I did not have my own transport. It is close to the GOC. They have their own coffee machine and spolit me with a great coffee with my breakfast in the mornings! We also cooked in their well equipped kitchen and shared a lovely meal together. They made me feel right at home. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay with them and will happily do it again.

I loved my stay with Chris & Gary. Their home is so beautiful! My room was charming, and spotlessly clean. It was in a quiet location, with a lovely garden view - I had undisturbed sleep both the nights that I stayed. Chris is a very friendly host. I needed to adjust my booking at short notice, and Chris's immediate response was so kind and understanding. Chris goes above & beyond as a host - even offering to share a home cooked family meal one night. Breakfast was also supplied, which I wasn't expecting. It only took about 10 minutes to drive into a Central Geelong, and there is a bus nearby. I highly recommend Chris's place as a great place to stay.

Chris' house was lovely, a beautiful older house with two rooms available, one double room and one single room. I stayed it the double and it was very well set up. Chris certainly made me feel at home and even arranged to give me a lift when I checked out. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for accomodation where you are made to feel at home and part of the family.

Chris and Garry's house is a lovely late Victorian/ early Edwardian house. I had a spacious room with everything I needed for a five day stay. My hosts were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The location is very convenient, close to Geelong and on the way to Torquay and the great ocean road. Shopping centre and buses within easy walking distance. Highly recommend this bnb.

What a find! Such good value, recently renovated, very clean, beautiful little unit, so quiet, bed is comfy, bathroom is very nice, close to all the day-to-day things you need plus good food on high st. Not sure why people stay in hotels when there are places like this around - incredible value!

Jon was very welcoming when we arrived and ensured we were aware of nearby locations, and he was also very prompt in replying to any queries we had.

Due to its location high up on a hill, accessibility is a little tricky but nothing to worry about. The accommodation comprises a lovely bedroom with a view and a very comfortable queen-size bed. The adjacent private living room is spacious and welcoming. There is a powder room too, however the bathroom/shower is upstairs. Deb really made us feel welcome and prepared a simple yet delicious breakfast for us in the morning. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quality retreat in a quiet picturesque Geelong neighbourhood.

Judi and Dan were great hosts for the three weeks I stayed in Highton. The home is a very short walk from a supermarket, cafes, restaurants, and bus stops, which makes it very liveable and easy to get to Melbourne (1 hour via bus/train) or Deakin Uni (walk+bus = 20 min). The bedroom was comfortable, clean, and had an armoire, clothes hamper, and drying rack. I especially enjoyed the outdoor patio where casual conversation was the norm and take away dinners from Highton Fish and Chips were enjoyed. I also became a regular at Two Sugars cafe which has excellent food, coffee, and wifi just a block away. Cheers!
