This was an amazing stay! Top ten perks: 1. Location is close to the port = easy entry and exit from Anguilla. 2. Dinner spot across the street with locals and good smoothies. 3. Close to gas stations and decent car rentals. 4. Quiet nights and mornings! 5. Clean and well-stocked kitchens and bathrooms. 6. Ron was available 24/7! He was very nice! 7. AC unit worked well. 8. The surrounding area was suburban compared to the touristy areas! 9. The bed is comfortable and the sheets were spotless! 10. You will be sad to leave, but be happy to return!

Anguilla is an island where you shouldn't spend to much time inside. The beaches are gorgeous, the people are nice and they have good food all around the island. Ron's place suits a holiday like that. It's a good place to stay the night, not the entire day. The location, so close to the ferry, was ideal for me. I could leave my stuff when I went for breakfast and after getting my stuff I was at the ferry within a minute -I rented a car! Ron is a very nice host and he gave some nice suggestions to see at the island.

Anguilla is extremely expensive in everything (accommodation, rental cars, restaurants, supermarkets); Silver Ray is a good option to reduce costs and still enjoy the island's beaches.

The location is great, for travelers who arrive via ferry (less than a 5-minute drive). Good to just drop off items and then go sightseeing! While the area is residential, it is relatively quiet. A good value as the island is fairly expensive.

Very nice place close to port and the loveliest beach in he Caribbean. Also had a wonderful show of the place by the host when we arrived.

Rhon was really friendly and welcoming with us. The appartement was perfect for the week end. He was spontanious with our reservation.

My wife and I were looking to preface our week trip in St Maarten and came across Samantha's place. It was in great walking proximity to Sandy ground. The bedroom had an A/C unit which was great for sleeping. Bright and airy with vaulted ceiling. The porch was large with a view of the salt pond. The ocean waves couldn't be heard from the room, however was only a short walk away. We frequented Roy's bar (3-5 min walk) because they were open for breakfast lunch and dinner. My wife and I went dancing at PumpHouse on Thursday night that had live music and dancing. I enjoy exploring, so I recommend renting a car for a few days to check out the island. Highly recommend making the trek to the very secluded Savannah bay and eating at Palm Grove. All in all, it was a nice stay at Samantha's place. Anguilla is a beautiful contrast to the busy St Maarten and would love to visit again.

The appartment is really spacy and modern. The kitchen is well equiped, towels were provided and everything was clean. The hosts are really lovely and helpfull! Sandy ground beach is very beautiful and you can see stunning sunsets. It is recommendable to have a car to get around, although we did everything by foot.

Emily's place was bright, clean, and spacious. For 3 people we had plenty of room. We were there for a week and ran out of toilet paper on the first day. No problem to go and get some, but would have been nice to know! The area is residential, so there isn't much scenery, but the location is great; just a short drive to Sandy Ground and many other beaches. We didn't hear much from Emily, just at the end of our stay, but we were gone every day. Overall, a good value for Anguilla.

Emily's apartment is well described and represented in her posting, a delightful spot. We loved it. Stayed for a month and spent a lot of our time outdoors on the verandah just soaking up the ambience. The beds were very comfortable and we appreciated the air conditioning in the bedroom at night. The apartment is in a very central location and a nice neighborhood. Emily and Mylez were lovely hosts and made us very welcome. I can happily recommend this rental.

Emily's place is pretty central to a lot of the beaches and restaurants on Anguilla, all a short drive away. Her place is located in a quiet residential neighborhood with nice views of St. Maarten/St. Martin in the distance. We definitely enjoyed lounging on the outside balcony. The unit is spacious inside and is pretty well stocked, in terms of cookware. The ACs in the bedrooms worked very well and kept the bedrooms nice and cool. If you are looking for rest and relaxation then this is the place/island for you. The location is very private, but if you do need to get in touch with Emily, she is responsive. It was our first visit to Anguilla, and we enjoyed checking out a new beach or two every day. Some of our highlights were Mead's Bay (eat at Blanchard's Beach Shack), Shoal Bay East beach, also recommend grabbing a croissant and coffee at Le Bon Pain (East End) and trying the pizza and gelato at Artisan (also on the east side). We shopped for groceries and supplies at Best Buy on the west side of the island (there are two) but the one on the east is smaller/less selection and only takes cash, no credit cards.

Doris is a hostess Super! Very hospitable always smiling precise in communication, in short, I recommend it to everyone! The house is very large, spacious rooms and comfortable beds! It has everything you need for a great stay! talented Doris

I must say that my wife and I had a wonderful time at Doris’ Caribbean Paradise. Our hostess picked us up at the dock and got us settled in after taking us to pick up our rental car. We had everything we needed in the house for our stay to include cooking utensils and supplies. My wife was even able to make potato salad and coleslaw for an after wedding party we went to. Doris is a wonderful hostess and we would be glad to stay with her if her place is available on our next trip to Anguilla.

We loved our stay in Anguilla. Doris was so sweet she met us at the ferry terminal so we could follow her to the house. Her house was perfect for our group. We actually did not realize how big the house was until we got there. The house is located near beautiful beaches and amazing restaurants. We recommend going to Straw Hat (the restaurant Doris works at) it was the best meal we had on the island. We can't wait to go back and visit!

OMG it was perfect! I rented the apartment for 6 of my family members traveling from Holland and Doris met us at the ferry and got us set up with a car rental. She lives upstairs of the apartment and is readily available for help if needed. She is an excellent host. My family had a great time and is looking forward to returning to Anguilla to visit Doris in the near future.

Great place and great host! Doris met us at the ferry and set up a car rental for us- she then then led us back to the house. Its a beautiful three bedroom rental unit- in the bottom floor of Doris' home. All needed supplies were provided (beach chair, cooler). The kitchen had all needed appliances. The house was comfortable and very clean. We hope to stay here again. There is plenty of room for 3 couples- hope to come back with friends!

Simple but clean and very friendly. Has all the important things, nice beds, lovely cotton bed linen, good fridge/freezer, cooking facilities, good shower. We would definitely return. Whilst not on beach very conveniently located.

We really enjoyed staying in Carl's West End apartments. They were very clean and beautifully decorated. I would highly recommend staying here!

Nice apartment near Sandy Ground. It is not really walkable. There is a restaurant across the street but transportation is needed to go anywhere on the island. The host, Delta, is nearby and very helpful.

The view is spectacular!! The is beautiful and is really clean and the amenities are endless. I had a blast and I will definitely stay at this location again. The host were friendly and very hospitable.
